These are the small balls not the 12000 gal size I thought I was getting. Based on what it got it was priced high.

Seem to work well...hard to tell.
These seem to work well, but it take them awhile to empty out properly so I don't know if the reduced evaporation we have noticed is due only to these or partially to it being a few degrees warmer.

This does not work.
Don't buy this because it does not work. It seems that the liquid completely dissolved or disappeared into the water or into the air.I did not notice any difference. This is a completely waste of money. I ended up buying the regular solar cover again which is bulky, hard to move but it's the only one that works the best for me.

Really Works
When I installed solar panels for my pool I was given a free SolarPill with each panel. They definitely help reduce evaportion and also help maintain the temperature 5 to 10 deg. hotter. Only issue I noticed is because of film small dirt particles float on top of water so you have to skim top more often.
