Works but scary for a 14ft ceiling.
Item works but bringing a bulb down from a high ceiling is scary and lost a bulb coming down, thankfully landed on the couch. Suction cup could be a little better but it does do what it needs.

Used for so much more than lightbulbs
There was a learning curve to figuring this out for lightbulbs, but I did eventually change the two I couldn’t reach with minimal problems.But since buying this, I’ve used it for way more than lightbulbs. When kids’ toys got stuck high in a tree, this was a lifesaver! Definitely a handy tool to have around for various purposes!

Doesn’t work at all
It twists to “lock” into place when it’s extended. Therefore, when you twist it back to unscrew the bulb, it loosens the pole and it collapses on itself every time. I’ve almost dropped a $20 bulb every time I’ve tried again. There were no further instructions included either.

Study pole
Only used the tool for recessed light, it worked great. The pole is very sturdy and long enough to reach my 12 ft ceiling.

Piece I needed isnt in kit and size just to small broke
I needed to get a florescent bulb out. The spring on the smallest one broke as soon as I tested it. I wired it together but could not get it to fit over a moderate sized florescent bulb. The other pieces do fit on the pole, there are parts for other kinds of bulbs and a duster. I would think for many situations it will be great.
