Panasonic SC-PMX94EG-K Micro HiFi System in black (120 Watt RMS, Digital Radio DAB+, CD, FM Radio, Bluetooth, USB, AUX)

Bought this mini hifi for a small office room mainly for playing CDs and to a lesser extent DAB radio but I have no interest in streaming. A very compact unit which performs well in all departments. Good sound, easy to customise with base & treble controls or pre set menu options, I’m not keen on heavy bass so I could reduce that to my personal taste. No probs with remote control, works from any angle within the room. The unit is compact and the silver version looks good and unobtrusive on the shelf. Instruction manual not in English and I struggled to find it online under SCPMX94 but if you search for SCPMX152 it’s the same model but make sure you have at least 36 sheets of paper in your printer ! Good service from Sotel, unit delivered sooner than expected, outer box could have been a little bit stronger but the inner bubble wrap lining prevented any transit damage. All in all, very happy with my purchase.

Excellent sound reproduction from such a small unit, quality build, I can’t fault it in anyway and highly recommend it. After saying that the model shown is in fact a none UK model SA-PMX94 which arrives with a none English instruction manual and a 2 pin electric lead as mine did. The correct model is SC-PMX94EG-K. If you look carefully at the photo of the main unit, you’ll see the model number is different from the description. So if you’re considering buying one, I’d recommend making sure you’ll be sent the correct model. I’ve been in touch with Amazon about this issue.

Small and compact unit and speakers. Excellent sound reproduction. Very disappointed that that there were no English operating instructions! Needed to contact Panasonic UK website to download one. However, Panasonic UK did not recognise this model and had to select their nearest equivalent which was the model 92! However, a UK 13 amp mains cable and plug was supplied.

Had this hi-fi for a week now. It came with a German manual but I got an English one online. It also had an EU power cable. I contacted Amazon Customer services who immediately gave me a £10 gift card to buy a UK power cable off Amazon. Easy to set up. The dab aerial it comes with is a bit flimsy ( will get a better one soon) You can store plenty of dab radio stations on this. Sound quality is very good for a little hi-fi. I have some music on a USB stick which slots in the front, it works well. On the remote a button called album lets you flick through what folders you have on the USB. I blue toothed music from my Note 9 with no problems at all. To connect my iPod classic I just got an aux cable, one end in the iPod the other in the aux socket at the back of hi-fi. I had a problem connecting my turntable to the hi-fi so I bought off here a UGREEN RCA 3.5mm Adaptor Cable 2 Phono Female to Male Aux Mini Jack Stereo (£6.99). RCA cables into the female connectors then the aux in the back of the unit, it now works great. All in all I'm very happy with this purchase. So many ways of listening to your music. Highly recommended.

Ok so the instructions were good n any other language part from English BUT! You seriously don’t need them very easy to set up Bluetooth your iPhones etc so you can play your amazon music very easy, me and my wife have amazon music so when she wants to play her music she can link up and viva versa ( not at the same time) came with European plug used old stereo (Denon) cable it worked oh by the way blasts denon out of the water clear cut sound very good quality you can also change sound tones and opt for surround sound I am definitely not disappointed with my buy

Purchased to replace a Sony hi fi in my kitchen/ diner. I like to listen to the likes of Nightwish / Steven Wilson / Genesis / Delain etc and my previous hi fi lacked adjustment for treble and bass. This Panasonic unit is powerful and the bass and treble adjustments are great. I wanted a USB port as well as I store music mostly on USB sticks and this is a great feature. Delivered directly from the supplier this item was well packed and arrived promptly. I am more than pleased with this hi fi after looking at loads of reviews for about 6 months, I am glad I opted for this one, I am certainly not disappointed.

As regards the Hi Fi unit itself, I am more than satisfied and am happy overall with the purchase. I am no expert as regards sound quality but the system provides ample power without the speakers vibrating. My gripes are:- 1) The power cable is only 90cm. long and therefore limits the siting of the unit to being adjacent to a power point-unless an extension lead is utilised. Having outlaid £350 I would expect a decent length of cable. Fortunately, my old Panasonic unit had power lead 150cm. long which I was able to use. a ridiculous penny pinching idea! 2)The Paper Instruction Manual is supplied in German/French/Italian and Dutch- but not English. Very handy on the Continent but about as much use as a "chocolate teapot" in this country. In fairness, after my request, the seller did provide an "Internet Link" to enable the download of an online manual. However, if you do not have internet access that will be of no use. I have been a fan of Panasonic products in the past but they need to cater for the market they wish to sell their goods in. Remediable irritations which Panasonic would do well to address.

Ero alla ricerca di nuovo impianto stereo da collegare al tv di casa. A tal proposito ho studiato tutti i prodotti che avessero un'uscita ottica per il collegamento. La mia attenzione dopo un'attenta ricerca è ricaduta sul Panasonic SC-PMX94EG-K, un impianto stereo davvero notevole!. Tra i pregi segnalo: Radio Dab+ Potenza in uscita Collegamento con cavo ottico Collegamento bluetooth Lettura file flac tramite chiavetta usb L'impianto lo utilizzo tutt'ora con notevole soddisfazione e stupore da parte dei miei amici che vengono a trovarmi per serate cinema. Unica nota negativa: i cavi per collegare i diffusori sono leggermente corti.

La potenza si sente tanto nei bassi, una cosa da mettere sempre a -4 perché ha un'erogazione dei bassi impressionante, forse troppo forti e per la stanza in cui l'ho collocato -4 è anche fin troppo alto, se ci fosse -6 lo avrei settato. Quindi, state tranquilli che del subwoofer non ne sentirete la mancanza🤣 Suono molto cristallino sugli alti. Il bluetooth supporta l'aac e questo già è buono. La portata come distanza è molto buona nonostante i muri in casa riesce a trapassare senza problemi. Però va fatta qualche critica: bassi sono molto presenti su questo non ci sono dubbi, ma non sono molto curati. Ho fatto un test è sembra che in alcune frequenze abbia un vuoto totale, parli di un range 40/50hz abbastanza vuoto, mentre 30hz si sente se si attiva il d-bass. Dai 60hz in poi no problem. Il bluetooth è un po'strano. Funziona da dio su tutti i sistemi tranne (ovviamente) Windows 11. Su Windows 11 noterete sicuro un problema di downpitch della voce, oltre ad essere di conseguenza rallentata la riproduzione e per riprendere la sincronizzazione il bluetooth andrà a skippare pezzi di audio. Il problema si può aggirare mettendo la trasmissione in modalità "priorità qualità di connessione" settando il valore 1 anziché 2 dal link mode. Ovviamente la qualità dell'audio va a calare un pochino sul bit rate ma non è una cosa molto percettibile quindi non ci farete caso. Se abbinate win10, android e altri sistemi non ci sono problemi. AGGIORNAMENTO La questione dei bassi era solo un problema di eco della stanza, risolto spostando l'impianto e il suono è, ovviamente, ancora più pulito. Rimane il problema della compatibilità con windows 11. Nel complesso, prodotto consigliato per il prezzo a cui l'ho portato a casa.

Compré esta unidad para equipar el cuarto de mi hijo, procurando sonido de buena calidad al menor coste posible. Anteriormente probé en mi estudio otras unidades de menor coste, que descarté por la mala calidad del sonido: Panasonic SC-PM50, LG CM2460. Finalmente me quedé con un Kenwood M-7000S, el cual su relación calidad-prestaciones/precio me pareció razonable, pero comparado a la par de este Panasonic me parece considerablemente superior la fidelidad del SC-PMX94EG: me sorprendió la claridad y nitidez de su sonido en el modo PC LPCM (conectado directamente al ordenador por USB) al reproducir pistas en formato FLAC con la aplicación Panasonic Audio Player 2, que si bien es muy básica la calidad obtenida hace que evite utilizar otras aplicaciones de audio de mi ordenador. Actualización (luego de 6 meses de uso diario): Sigo sorprendido por la notable calidad de sonido y su dinámica, aprovechada a pleno cuando está conectado por USB al ordenador y se reproducen pistas FLAC con la aplicación de Panasonic! Acabo de ordenar una segunda unidad, para reponer la que había prometido a mi hijo pues no pude desprenderme de la primera unidad para mi uso personal. Nota: según el mercado este modelo puede denominarse "PMX92" o "PMX94". For our English fellows: I bought this unit to equip my son's room, providing good quality sound at the lowest possible cost. I previously tried other lower cost units in my studio, which I discarded due to poor sound quality: Panasonic SC-PM50, LG CM2460. Finally I ended up with a Kenwood M-7000S, which I found to be reasonable in its quality-performance/price ratio, but compared to this Panasonic the fidelity of the SC-PMX94EG seems considerably superior to me: I was really surprised by the clarity and sharpness of the sound when playing in PC LPCM mode (connected directly to the computer through USB), playing tracks in FLAC format with the Panasonic Audio Player 2 application, which, although it is very basic, the quality obtained means that you avoid using other computer audio player software. Update (after 6 months of daily use): I continue to be surprised by the remarkable sound quality and its dynamics, fully utilized when connected via USB to the computer and playing FLAC tracks with the Panasonic application! I just ordered a second unit, to replace the one I had promised my son since I couldn't get rid of the first unit for my personal use. Note: depending on the market, this model may be called "PMX92" or "PMX94".

Très bonne chaîne hifi, elle est discrète, très bon rendu des basses et des aigues. Un seul bémol, le mode d'emploi livré avec l'appareil est très sommaire, j'ai dû chercher sur internet, le mode d'emploi complet pour savoir comment trouver les stations radio. Je conseille cette chaîne hifi pour sa puissance, et le très bon rendu du son. Et de plus son prix est très correct.
