FLEXISPOT KT1B Keyboard Tray for Tilting Keyboard/Black

This is a very good product, highly adjustable in terms of hight and keyboard angle. It is easy to attach and operate too. The reason I am giving it 4 stars is that the whole panel tilts slightly to the right and down (see the photo attached). I checked my desk and all screws. Those are levelled. It might be something with the alignment of the rail itself and sliding part of the tray. It seems there is a small alignment gap, so I glued a small plastic part (credit card thickness, 2x0.5 cm) beneath the right side of the sliding tray. This lifted the unit into desired, straight position and it made it tightly aligned with the rail. This might be just this unit. Overall, I am satisfied with the product.

all hardware was present, instructions were clear if one reads them, works as it should. it is loose, however, because there is slack in the track and there is no way to remove it. not a deal killer, but I don't know why tolerances should be so loose

The tilt mechanism that slides back and forth under the desk does not fit snugly in the panel that attaches to the underside of the desk. This means that it bumps around when sliding the tray under the desk - it is not a smooth or quiet motion. Locking the keyboard tray into position to use it does nothing to alleviate this problem. The tilt mechanism still bumps around as you use it! Given that it is not that difficult to install (and not many parts to install) I cannot quite comprehend how this product manages to fail quite so completely at delivering a smooth, stable, and quiet experience. There's nothing fancy about the sliding or tilting that this keyboard tray offers. It's best described as basic. Sadly this keyboard tray fails at even being basic. I bought this product because I needed a keyboard tray with a short track length - and sadly there were not that many options. Having said that, It is difficult for me to remember a time when I have regretted a purchase as much as I regret this one.

Pour le prix le m’attendais à une vraie mécanique, mais il n’en est rien. Pas de roulement à bille pour le glissement d’avant en arrière, principe très cheap pour bloquer le plateau à la hauteur souhaitée, le ressort a anticiper lorsque l’ont souhaite changer de position. Je ne déconseille pas, l’idée est bonne mais les finitions sont à travailler. Si un nouveau modèle de meilleure qualité existait, je changerais.

Verstehe die ganzen negativen Aussagen nicht, klar ist das ich mich auf dem Teil nicht mit meinem Gewicht aufstützen kann. Es ist stabil macht was es soll. Behindert nicht beim Schreiben. Die Tastatur und Maus ist aufgeräumt. Man hat Platz auf dem Tisch für was auch immer man sonst noch so tut. Das einzigste was mich gestört hat … leider nicht in WEIS !! Erhältlich

Did not come with installation instructions, finally found on the flexispot website after googling for awhile. Installed on a flexispot sit/stand desk about 2.5" from the front. Was unsure how far from front to place it since instructions did not specify. The keyboard tray rattles when I type which is very annoying. When I'm sitting, I can press the arm of my chair up against the tray to stop the rattle, but that compromises the ergonomic features of the chair, and doesn't help when I'm standing. I only got this keyboard since another one would have invalidated the warranty for the flexispot desk. If I can't fix the rattle, I intend to return it.
