Heating Pad Wrap for Back Pain Relief with Auto Shut Off and Moist Heating Option 23 x 15" Slate Grey

I have Parkinson's Disease and one problem I have is a weak lower back. If I twist my body too quickly or in an awkward way, I end up hurting my lower back. It's an old injury I've had since my 20's, but with PD, it can flare up very easily. This pad has a soft fabric, a nice gray color, and is very comfortable. It includes an extension piece so you can add on to the wrap-around belt, fitting it to your exact waist size. It conforms nicely to my back. I am impressed with Sunbeam heating pads--they are excellent quality and reliable. They have designed heating pads a whole new way--gone are the simple rectangles with covers that always manage to come off, or pads that tend to crumple and stay that way until you use them again. These pads retain their shape and don't crumple up. They are much safer, since there's an automatic shut-off. They are designed for certain parts of the body, so they can be fitted and hit the area where heat is needed. I am thankful that Amazon delivered this so quickly during the COVID-19 Pandemic. I was counting the days when it would arrive and fortunately I didn't have long to wait!

This heating pad is terrific, especially for those suffering with back pain. It straps around one's waist ensuring that the pad stays in contact with the back. The 4 heat levels work well, delivering consistent heat. I personally love that it turns itself off after 2 hours. While it isn't recommended that the user sleep with it on, it gave me so much relief that I couldn't help but fall asleep. Knowing that it would turn off after 2 hours gave me a reasonable sense of security. This pad can be used for other parts of the body ... I've also wrapped it around my knee with great success. It can be sprayed with water to create a moist heat, although I didn't try that out. I definitely recommend this heating pad!

We've purchased this several times now over the past couple of years. Only one of them has broken and had to be replaced. It functions pretty well overall and you can tell a difference between each heat setting. I use the highest setting and it's a decent amount of heat. The best function is the auto shut off. I can't recall exactly how long it is but it will shut off and notify you with blinking red light that you basically left it on. We've never had it not shut off, but try to be diligent to turn it off before leaving. It's also got a strap to help you wrap basically any body part. Decent plug in heating pad that gives a variety of heat options. Mild durability issues with one of the ones we had.

I bought this heating pad wrap about a year ago, along with 2 Sunbeam cordless ones for when I travel. This one is soft and very comfortable. Both types are very good but comparing the two, the cordless ones heat up much better than this one. I guess this one could be defective because it is not as effective as the cordless ones. I would have tried to exchange this one, but this is the first time I opened it. The exchange window is over. I can get it to go a bit warm, but not as warm as I feel I need. Not nearly as warm as the other 2. Maybe this is normal????

It’s not just great for your back. You can wrap it around your shoulder or knee as well. This was a really good purchase!

This product delivers exactly what it promises. The quality is solid, it’s easy to use, and it performs reliably. While there’s always a bit of room for improvement, the overall experience is very positive. It offers great value and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for something dependable.

This was my second Sunbeam heating pad wrap in less than five years. The first worked for two years, the second stopped working at just short of two and 1/2 years. They both worked perfectly....until they didn't. I loved the three heat settings and that it turned off as needed. I believe I paid around $30 in August 2023 and now the price is over $59... now add a three year warranty at $7.99 and add taxes that makes it almost $70. I won't pay that much for a product that may not work for three years. If you have a higher income than me and purchase this heating wrap, you will love it as long as it's working!

just what I hoped it would be. It's comfortable, heats well and is the right size for me. Very happy with purchase.

Can only give one star as this product has an American plug so can’t be used in this country. Emailed company and they refunded me. Good customer service.
