This heating wrap is great. I wear it just to warm up, or to help a sore back, wear it under my coat, when taking dogs out to play, and it's cold. I also use it (unheated), around my waist to hold in an ice pack on my back, as I go about my day, getting things done. I'm not tied to a cord plugged in, etc. Its large, great velcro, there's an extender for a larger person, etc. Great product.

This microwavable pad feels great on the back! I'm recovering from herniated discs in my back, and I use this when I feel tightness. I like the straps that are for keeping it in place. I need to microwave mine for 3 minutes and it stays very warm and soothing for about 30 minutes. The smell is pleasant too. It will come in handy for other aches and pains I am sure, and it's definitely worth it.

This is a microwaveable flaxseed-filled channeled wrap for the lower back. It could be draped over the shoulders and neck, and there is an extra extension strap one could use to accommodate a big belly, etc. It can get too hot if you aren’t careful, so I don’t heat it to the max bc it could burn me. So then the heat doesn’t last as long as I would like it too, but overheating is dangerous for the person using it, as well as for the pad itself. The directions caution that the microwave must be completely clean (of course) bc any food residue that gets on the fabric will stain it and possibly cause it to catch fire. It is only spot-cleanable, not washable. The cover isn’t removable. I put it in the microwave folded in half, on a double paper towel for 2 and 1/2 minutes, then fold it the other way and do 2 minutes. It’s hot enough that I have to put it over my sweatshirt for a couple of minutes, then move it to over my t-shirt. The heat dissipates pretty rapidly, but it does provide me with some relief as I’m working in the kitchen or vacuuming for a bit and need to be mobile.

This heating pad does what it claims to do. It is very soft, and comfortable. It is extra wide so it covers my lower back very well. It helps with back pain or other types of pain. The reason i gave it a 4 star is because its not completely scent free. When i first took it out of the packaging it did have an odor to it. After an few days and several times in the microwave the scent is almost gone. I think that this scent comes from the flax seeds. Overall its a great product.

I’ve had this product over 8 months and microwave it several times a day- sometimes hourly. It takes 2 minutes 40 seconds to Ah, relief! I’m 5’5, female, 125 lbs and it wraps around my waist fine. I have degenerative disc and back/hip pain that alternates hips. I’m able to easily slide it from hip to hip. This heating pad feels great standing, sitting, and lying down on it. Sometimes I walk my around my yard in it on my daily loops, but it gets too heavy for my back and I eventually take it off. This is a product that gets much use multiple times a day and has held up well. I’ve also used it for abdominal pain and as a weighted heating pad for achy legs. The pad does get nice and hot and the heat fades but stays warm about an hour.

This pad is a life saver for me. I like it hot so I microwave it longer that the instructions say. It really helps me. Just FYI. Over microwaving it will cause it to smell bad and eventually you will have to scrap it. But, in the meantime ......love it.

I find at this age of my life my body is not happy with all I’ve done to/with it in the past. I seriously injured my neck in a car accident when I was young and have multiple bone spurs and amazingly achy muscles through my scapula and trapezoids. That makes me a wonderful candidate for your neck and shoulder wrap. I have used it several times since it arrived, and I have to say I’m delighted with it. It is weighty enough to stay put and be comforting, stays warm long enough to give me relief, and is perfectly sized to wrap completely around my shoulders and neck so it doesn’t fall off when I am up and about doing things. I also have some pretty serious low back issues and SI joint problems and your wrap is fabulous comfort over the amazingly large area it covers. I also have some issues with my gut and I just heat up the wrap, wrap it around and secure the Velcro and I can do simple tasks, or just snuggle up with it on the couch or bed. I have found both products to be wonderfully comforting. Thank you for quality products that do what they were designed to do!

I bought this wrap to replace a different wrap I had been using on my neck and also my lower back for a number of years. The prior wrap wore out eventually so I needed to find a replacement. I can honestly say that the PhysioNatural Microwavable Back Wrap is much, much better than the one I had been using. It generates considerable heat once microwaved and is very maneuverable. I also like its soft quality, and the velco attachments hold the wrap firmly in place. I've only used it three times, but I'm already very happy to have found this product, and expect that I will be using it often going forward. The back of the box in which the wrap comes has a Microwave Power/Heating Time table, which I think is a great idea. Somehow, though, my experience varies with what I would expect from that table - my microwave is 1580 Watts, which would suggest about one minute, 20 seconds heating time - I have found, however, that I need close to three minutes for the wrap to acquire sufficient heat - though this may be due to the fact that my microwave does not have high/low settings, and the heating instructions included with the wrap indicate that the wrap should be microwaved on 'high'. UPDATE: It's now been about two years since I purchased this product and I've used it with good results from time to time since then. More recently, I've been using it on almost a daily basis. I continue to think it's a very good product, but just yesterday, it developed a small hole during the microwave process and left a strong burnt smell in the microwave. The material inside is now leaking out and the product is essentially unusable now. I've always been extremely careful to use the product exactly as directed. I'm trying to decide whether to order another one. I haven't decided yet, but I must admit I am extremely disappointed that this product didn't last longer than it did. For this reason, I feel that I need to subtract at least two stars from my original evaluation.
