Review of: **Glidecoat Ceramic Coating Applicator Sponges 6 Pack- Applicator Pads Detailing for Cars, Boats, Motorcycles, Motorhomes, Quad Bikes and More - Non-Absorbing - Effortless Application On Any Vehicle!** After having applied ceramic coatings to several vehicles, I found the best application method was a small, dense sponge with a slightly less dense side that is wrapped with a suede-like microfiber cloth. The sponge just acts as the pressure for the cloth to evenly spread the ceramic coating - it does not actually hold the ceramic coating liquid. These cloths from Glidecoat are a great size and overall thickness, but the applicator side foam is a bit too soft. If you use these without a MF cloth wrapped around them, the open cell foam will soak up too much ceramic liquid. And with the cloth around it, the foam is still a bit soft, but will work pretty well. After trying these on a test surface, I can say that they will work (with a cloth wrapped around them), but I do not like them quite as much as other foam applicator blocks I have used. The size is great but the foam side needs to be a bit denser or thinner to provide more even pressure. Quick tip- If you cut slits in the red part of the foam block, you can insert your microfiber cloth into it to help keep it wrapped around the block. (see my pix). If you have ever done a ceramic application before, you know that the cloth tends to come off the block easily, and you'r constantly re-wrapping it. This trick helps reduce how often that occurs.

Perfect for application of liquid ceramic coating. I do my own rather than pay big bucks for someone else to do it. Does a nice job using the least amount of product.
