Product seems solid and works even better than OEM. I was quoted 1400 for a professional install, and after doing the job, I can see why. Installing is a pain no matter which motor you order. That being said, great product for the money.

Part matched OE part exactly, it came with a new cover but no resistor as stated in the description. Part came quick and I have no issues installing it. Great value compared to OE part at well over $200. So far so good!

Works great. It wasn't terribly hard to install. I watched a YT video from someone named Peppermint. I was able to get all 5 bolts easily by using a ratchet driven torx (t25 I think). So, no need to break off the 5th one like some of the reviews say. I wasn't for certain if the problem was the resistor or my blower. My symptom was that my original blower sometimes wouldn't turn on at all or would only turn on after a delay. Sometimes it was fine. I think if the resistor is bad, then it may run at 100% capacity and not be able to be turned down to a lower setting. I installed this on 9/2023. If it fails, I will for certain update my rating.

Anyone replacing this on an xc90 knows it is far from ‘easy to install’ with no blame on the actual part.The top part did have a crack but I was able to use the top part from the old piece.Great value for money over the OE part.

Looks just like original. In durable enough package. Fits and works perfect. Volvo made it fun to install. Just take your time and break off back plastic tab hidden in back. I didn't have to remove glove compartment.

Let’s be honest if you’re ok with OEM only move along. This is just fine. I can swap this out 4 times for what the OEM part would cost. Would i want to,,, no but it’s worth the risk. BTW,,, break the fifth tab. Life is too short. No strange noises and it works great.

I ordered the OAW 100-V186 Front HVAC Blower Motor for my 2004 Volvo XC70 (210,000 miles). The original blower was making end-of-life sounds. The replacement seemed to be the same as the original in all important ways. This is not a five minute install but there are very good video instructions on-line. The product fit the mounting location and the air and electrical connections fit precisely. Best of all, the fan runs quietly and pushes air like new.
