Great for safety and anti-clutz
I bought two of these for the stands at church. One of the stands was notorious for falling over, not anymore! The other is the mic stand at the piano which extends so far that it needed a little help just to be safe. I now is not going anywhere! They are easy to install, and of great use.

Best counterweight for a heavy mic on a boom
The counter weight is secure and solves the saggy boom problem created by a heavy microphone . Great appearance in front of an audience. Not excessive and more effective than the 3 lb model.

Heavy Beast
Nothing special, just a solid weight that holds on to a mike size pole. I was using it to counter balance my heavy retro mic but got tired of the mic blocking my face. Just note, it is every bit of that 6 lbs as advertised. So, make sure you actually want a counter balance this heavy before you buy.

They were to heavy.
I couldn’t use them they way too heavy. Can’t say anything bad about them.

Did the job
Worked fine on my EQ6 R Pro. it was a bit too wide but that was my fault for not looking at the measurements.

Good counterweight, the rubber head for the screw is a little small and collapses easily.
Nothing wrong with the build of the counterweight besides the fact that the clear rubber head for the screw is very small and collapses easily. The rubber seal is literally only 1 or 2 millimeters thick and about 4 millimeters in diameter. After using it just twice, I could see the rubber head was compressing and shearing at an angle. They need to either make the head/screw bigger or use a stronger rubber material. It is 6lbs as stated.

Great for Telescopes
This is a great option for telescope counterweights, especially if you're using a lighter refractor and need the weight close to the mount without hitting the mount. It's also just the right amount for use with larger SCTs and the included 11/12 lb counterweight.
