This was not only a cheaper alternative, but the pattern and colors went really well with our garage remodel that I finished. The one minor complaint is that a lot of the end pieces/caps don’t match up the way they should, so I had to cut them to fit. For the price, I can accept that.

I got these to set up a home gym in my basement--specifically, a set of weights and a bench. On the plus side, these are pretty easy to set up and are flexible to fit in whatever space you need (within reason). They do get dirty pretty easily -- after just a few days, mine was all dusty and dirty and I had to clean it again -- but that's to be expected for a black foam mat (the dust shows on the dark background). They're not that thick, maybe half an inch, which means that I can't drop the weights or anything (but they're fine if I put the weights down calmly/normally). Overall, a good value and a good product, and my home gym is awesome. If only these things could provide me with better genetics, I'd be a world-class weightlifter.

I converted my living room into a gym. My family loves it! This product was easy to snap together like puzzle pieces. It is very cushy on my existing carpet. I am already looking to buy more for my office, as I am a massage therapist who takes off her shoes during treatments and I need that soft support under me while I work.

A large set of foam pads, almost half of the room, although just received a little bit of foam flavor, but after cleaning the drying is nothing .Personally feel very practical, because the stitching tight, so each cleaning is convenient and gray and black to match more engaging also resistant to dirty

I bought these mats for a workout room I was putting together. I bought both grey and black to make the room a little more stylish. They fit together nicely, but sometimes it's difficult to find the correct end pieces around the boarder of the room. I was able to do it, however, so it isn't a major issue. These mats are not super thick but thick enough for average workouts. I don't think they would hold up to dropping heavy weights on the floor on a regular basis.

I was really excited to set these up in my home gym. I got them and liked them out of the box - they didn't smell funny, they were soft, but not too soft. Easy to connect, although I noticed some incompatible areas...meaning, not all the connections looked right. I've been working out on them for a couple of weeks, and almost killed myself a few times. Lunges, burpees, pushups, any kind of cardio....forget it. The connections are so weak the squares just fly apart. After almost blowing out my knee this weekend, I decided to just order one large piece for the whole room. These squares will go in the garage under our cars to catch oil...what a bummer.

I am using these in a second floor bedroom with hardwood floors for aerobic type workouts. They are the perfect thickness, buffer the sound and soften the step.
