Bed of Roses (DVD)

I have loved this movie for a really long time, it was time to finally own it on dvd. It arrived in excellent condition, the disc had no scratches on it. The movie played perfectly through out the whole movie. It is such a good movie, if you haven't seen it, then it is a must see and soon.

Purchased this DVD used and it was in excellent condition and played without any issues.

I remember watching the trailer for this movie back in 1995 while sitting in a movie theater...and deciding not to watch it. In 2023 I did watch it, and I loved it. The film itself is really not very good; however, the fashion, the story, the mood are so 1990s--a decade that I loved and was blessed to be in my 20s during---that I absolutely loved this movie. The fashion was amazing to see. I used to dress like that :) And the optimistic mood of the characters is one that I shared---back in the 90s. I miss the 1990s and would give almost anything to travel back in time a spend a month there. If you are Gen X, I think you will probably overlook the film's short comings and simply enjoy travelling back in time. If you are younger, please consider watching and see how different life was back then when America was still wealthy, not suffocating under political correctness, and the future was still bright.

I couldn’t find this movie on any streaming service and really wanted to watch it. This is a charming romantic comedy that also has a little more depth than the usual goofy rom-com. It is one that I’d recommend adding to the collection if you enjoy romantic movies. Somewhere between the Notebook and the Vow is where this gem belongs.

I have been trying to find Bed of Roses for a long while. Thank goodness I finally found it on Amazon. I love this movie and haven't seen it in quite a while.

My husband and I are life-long movie-holics and - at least for us - this is one of those films we come back to over and over again. The 2 main characters both grew up very shy and, although they are both very good looking, intelligent, competent people with excellent careers, each of them constantly struggles inside themselves with their innate shyness and the toll it takes on them. For anyone sensitive to the subject, it's a beautiful and very satisfying film. I highly recommend it.

One of my favorite romantic movies…. However, “Bed of Roses” drastically needs to be released on Blue-Ray ASAP! I’ll buy my second copy instantly…. if it’s on Blue-Ray!

A once married and now widowed man meets another woman and falls in love again. She was taken in as an orphan and told that she had no birthday. She was shy and introverted as a child. Now she is a corporate officer and buried in her work. She does not want a relationship because she is afraid of anybody knowing her past. The man proposes on Christmas Eve with all of his family present. She runs away out of fear. She must find it in her heart to accept herself as much as he accepts and loves her. Need tissues for the ending.

No me ha sido posible tenerla. Lejos del ámbito europeo, el DVD era sólo válido para los USA y los UK. Creo que se debería ampliar las informaciones por parte de amazon. Es un error demasiado común. Por desgracia. No estoy contento, tuve que pagar 3€ + d lo q costaba. Un CERO para amazon

Good movie

Excelente DVD, aunque sea región 1.

This really is a nice film, simple plot, very romantic, some great shots of New York, nice music, beautiful female lead .... its a film that definately leaves you feeling good. If you want a cosy afternoon curled up on the couch with a good film, this is it. You wont be disappointed.
