Installed this clock movement replacing one that quit working. The new one mounted up and runs perfectly.

Replaced a broken clock mechanism that had a pendulum feature. It installed easily and as an added bonus this new mechanism had a "second" hand, which my old mechanism did not have. I let it run overnight to verify that the time was accurate. I could have gotten the same mechanism for a little less, but this version had black hands that closely matched my old mechanism. I had to "trim" the arms because they were longer than needed, but the hands were easy to cut with scissors. Very pleased with how easy it was to replace, it's accurate and it was a good value.

Sure, the clock is accurate and the new motor was easy to install, but the pendulum movement has a six inch side to side swing. Entertaining, but not very realistic.

This met my needs. I have a mantel clock that I had made the case for many years ago but the mechanical works had stopped working. I decided I wanted a quartz mechanism and ordered this. I had to do some modifications to make it work properly. The hands were too long so I can trim the ends of them. They were gold which did not show up very well against the white cock face so I painted them black. I remove the pendulum mechanism since I didn't need it. And I used a metal washer as a spacer since the hands were too close to the face. But after doing all of that it's working perfectly and looks great and it was only about 13 bucks for the mechanism. I'm sure it would've been much more to get it done at a clock shop.

Works good keeps perfect time

I didn’t realize this arm kit was for very thin clock faces. I have a wood clock ~ ⅝” thick and the dial is not long enough to attach the hands. The hands are very flimsy as well, but I didn’t expect much at this price point. They will work fine as long as the kids don’t knock the clock off the wall haha. I will keep them though and try to router out the back of my clock. Will attach pictures if I can get it to work.

Replacement simple quartz clock that works fine.

Great replacement for worn out clock motors...may take some cutting or trimming ...but thats all partof repairing old clocks.

Das Werk tickt richtig (wenn es auch nicht tack macht) ...das macht es sehr leise, und daher ist das fehlende Tack auch nicht störend. Ich habe eine alte Wanduhr, dessen mech. Werk defekt war, umgerüstet. Das mitgelieferte Pendel sah da etwas schmächtig und zu kurz aus und ich habe einfach das alte Pendel des mechanischen Werkes angehängt. Das läuft zunächst ganz prima - Mal sehen wie lange? In jedem Fall tut das Werk was es tun soll. Von den gestanzten Zeigern und dem Pendel sollte man sich nicht zu viel erwarten. Da ist ein wenig Nacharbeit bei Bedarf (z.B. Stanzgrate an der Unterseite der Zeiger), oder lackieren bei unpassender Farbe, notwendig. Der Preis geht auf jeden Fall in Ordnung. Und den ersten Tag hat das Werk sekundengenau gemeistert. Achso, die auf der Packung aufgedruckte Anleitung, zwar nur engl., aber gut bebildert, kurz und prägnant - absolut vorbildlich. Für Uhenbastler und jemand, der möglicherweise wie ich, eine Umrüstung plant, absolut empfehlenswert. Hierbei aber auf jeden Fall vorher die Maße und Begebenheiten checken. Zeiger lassen sich im Bedarfsfalle leicht kürzen ...
