I’ve had blackheads on my nose since my early teens. Back in the 90s, I threw everything at them, which was pretty much just Clearasil and The Body Shop’s Tea Tree range in those days, but nothing even reduced them. I discovered Biore strips in my twenties, which were great at removing what was there, but didn’t seem to actively tackle the recurring problem. Fast forward to my forties, with perimenopausal skin running riot, and I’ve taken the time to learn what works. I need AHA, for exfoliating, and BHA, to unclog pores. For this, I used CosRX’s Blackhead Power serum. On its own though, the CosRX was only doing half a job. I realise now that it wasn’t strong enough to get past the oil on my skin. This Some By Mi product has BHA. I don’t really understand how the other ingredients work, but for the first time, when I wash my skin with this, there is no oil left. I can actually feel skin, rather than sebum – it’s properly clean. Before using it, I wash my whole face with Nip+Fab Glycolic Aid cleanser, then apply the SomeBy Mi just to my nose. I leave it on for a few minutes, wash it off, then finish with the CosRX serum, on the nose only. Using it is a weird experience. It’s a green slime coloured substance, but once applied to wet skin, or with wet hands, the moisture causes it to bubble up. Just soft bubbles at first, but it seems to firm up, more like shaving foam consistency, and it sits there like a mask. It hardens up, leaving you with a white film. You will need to rinse a few times to get this off your face. After a couple of days of using it in my routine, both morning and at bedtime, I could see a difference. Then I ran out of CosRX, and it took me a week to get another bottle back into the routine. In that time, the blackheads started to creep back in, but once I’d got everything restocked, I was entirely clear of blackheads after about ten days. It was amazing to see clear skin for the first time in thirty years. Thirty years of clogged pores, erased in a couple of weeks. In a lot of Korean beauty circles, you’ll hear people referring to something as their HG, the Holy Grail – a product which they cannot do without, and this is most definitely a Holy Grail product for me.

Love this face wash, leaves your face very clean and with frequent use does minimise blackheads and pores. Keeps face clean and blemish free. Love how it foams on face. Plus it last long as well. Well worth it!

Good face wash but it doesn’t remove blackheads

Amazing product. It actually works. Don't spend your money on expensive remedies. This really works. My skin is so much cleaner. I have open pores and blackheads can easily form, but use this product as directed and you will not be disappointed.

Immediate results, I’ve had an issue with blackheads most of my life and have tried loads of different products and tools. This is the only thing I’ve found that has made a noticeable difference. Using it along with hero mighty masks and moisturiser and my skin looks and feels much better. Pores are smaller and less congested.

Utilisé seulement depuis 1 semaine mais je sens vraiment une difference apres chaque utilisation. La peau est bien plus nette et douce, mes rougeurs sur les joues se sont atténuées. So I am honestly not one to write reviews but I am honestly blown away! So my wonderful Italian and Sicilian genes make me a very oily person. I don’t ever break out that god I’ve never had to deal with that. But I’ve always had issues with an extremely oily T-zone which unfortunately causes me to get blackheads mostly on my nose and a little bit on my chin area. But my nose is the super stubborn area due to having very oily skin. They are the small surface ones that I can’t even have them removed because they are more surface blackheads due to oil. Now mind you I have an INTENSE skin care routine. Usually 5-7 steps. But still nothing I’ve ever tried could get rid of these stubborn blackheads. So I saw this product and decided to try it cause I read lots of good reviews, And I was blown away! So firstly I washed my face twice to make sure it was super clean, then I been using another product called suction black head remover mask I buy on here as well. And that’s helps with shinking of the pores but not so much with black heads. A little bit but it’s great for shrinking pores for sure! So I applied that next. It’s a black mask you basically use on T-zone then when it dries it peels off. Figured that would be a good first step. Then after I applied a decent layer of this and waited for it to foam up. Then with my finger (as directed too) rubbed in a circular motion for about a minute maybe 2. Then I always use paper towels to wipe my face since I know it’s cleaner then using even a fresh clean towel. And I was shocked! I could literally see little small black dots or oil residue on the paper towel! I didn’t want to get to excited but clearly it did something. When I looked in the mirror I was in disbelief! Literally more than half of my little tiny stubborn blackheads were gone ! And pores shrunk! I COULD HONESTLY NOT BELIEVE AFTER SO MANY YEARS I FOUND SOMETHING THAT ACTUALLY WORKED!!! I was so happy I couldn’t help but do another round 😂. And even more the next time! I have tried so many products over the years I lost count! But I’ve tried a lot! I am so pumped about this product! I cannot wait to use it a few more times this week and I honestly have no doubt that they will eventually all be gone and if not mostly gone!!! At least pretty darn close! For the first time I looked in the mirror and didn’t feel I needed to put on tinted moisturizer on my nose because I’m always so self conscious about that area. I highly recommend this!!! I mean NOTHING has ever worked and this very light green tea clean product just worked incredible wonders in 1 go! Seriously you have nothing to lose by trying this! If you have a story similar to mine? Try it! Super inexpensive and SO worth the results. I’m looking forward to seeing how much better my skin just continues to get after a few more treatments. It’s so fast and so easy. It smells good! It’s just a very subtle green tea sent and a slight cooling feeling. The areas I used it on feel so refreshed. But I definitely recommend using a black peel mask first. I think it helped the process to be honest. You got nothing to lose! You must try it! I’m thrilled!!!! 🫶🫶🫶

Me ha encantado, deja la piel super suave, super limpia y muy fresca por mucho tiempo. No es necesario aplicar diario y se puede complementar con el tónico de la misma marca y va de maravilla. Tengo muchísimos menos puntos negros desde el primer uso, y lo mejor es que así se queda, no regresan a las horas como con otros productos con hidroxiácidos.
