I Got this to replace the old nasty pump in the dogs animal planet water fountain thing. It started getting nasty and the pump wasn't serviceable so I found this one that came with LED light and usb plug which makes it super easy to plug into a power brick. Pump has way better flow than original and the LED light is nice to see water level and also works as night light for dog. On top of that this pump can be taken apart and easily cleaned and it can fit many charcoal or other filters sold on amazon to keep dirt in water from clogging or dirtying up the pump. For $10 I'll grab one for a backup as well since the dogs love the fountain it actually makes them drink more water in the summer.

I have bought three of these this year. I clean it once a week. They burn out after 2 months of continuous use in our pet water fountain. Switching back to a bowl of water.UPDATE! The reason these were burning out is because pet hair gets lodged in the motor. It needs to be taken apart and cleaned out. Once I started doing that, I have not had to replace the pump. So, high maintenance, but your pets are worth it.

This pump quietly provides a water fountain for my cat 24 hours a day, but it wears out in a year.

My Wonder Creature Cat Fountain stopped working for the 2nd time (blinking red light not going away and water not running). The first time, their customer service sent a replacement but it took a while to receive. This time I needed it ASAP and this works great. Been using it for almost 2 months and no problems so far.

I purchased 2 of them to replace the original pumps that came with our Catit LED Flower Fountains (the blue ones with the little water pockets). It had been over a year since we purchased the fountains, and the pumps were super noisy and gross no matter how much we cleaned them.These pumps are not 100% compatible with the Catit LED Flower Fountain - they are a bit too big and the suction cups don't stay put on one side because of it (the bottom has a plastic "border" which pushes the pump up a little bit on that side) - but they fit well enough, they work great, and they are super quiet. I would still purchase them again if the pumps needed to be replaced in a year or two.

I bought another one because the replacement one I bought from them a long time ago just died. The replacement one worked great. Lasted longer than the original pump. This one…yea…it was quiet the first couple days then last night it just got loud. It’s vibrating the entire water fountain. I took it out, disassembled it, and put it back together. Still loud and vibrating the entire fountain. Tried to contact seller but the link doesn’t work. Maybe this way it will get their attention.

The motor stops working on these quickly. I clean the unit and filter often but this broke in 2 1/2 months - don’t buy

This works fine for a few months, but then I've had to replace. Often stops working during the cleaning of the water setup. I unplug it to change and clean the basin and brush off this motor, then when I plug it back in, it doesn't work.
