I grabbed the DTK 2Pack 6.5Ah Lithium-Ion Battery Replacement for my DeWalt 18V XRP tools, and I’m seriously impressed! These batteries are BETTER than the original Dewalt that came with my drill! They snap in just like the originals. The 6.5Ah capacity is a beast—I’ve been using my drill for light, medium, and heavy-duty projects around the house for days, and I haven’t even needed to recharge yet! The LED charge indicator is a nice touch, letting me know I’m still good to go. They’re lighter than the old Ni-Cad batteries, so my arms aren’t aching after long sessions, and they charge fast in my DeWalt charger. No memory effect, and the built-in chip seems to keep them safe from overcharging. For the price, these are a steal compared to OEM batteries, and they’re keeping my tools running like new. I would buy this again over any other brand.

These are great and hold a charge a long time even when not using them. My original batteries got to the point they were dead every time I went to use them and the 6 I had would not hold a charge so these being lithium it was a no brainer. They deliver lots of power and I had one in my driver on the bench for probably a month after charging it and it still says full. I am not a heavy user of these tools anymore but it is great to know it holds an charge long and will be ready to use.

Direct fit and holds charge

These Batteries work extremely well, even better than the 20 Volts with an adapter and they fit my Circular Saw without losing any cutting depth. They have good run time under load and the power stays consistently strong no fading. We tried them out on a reciprocating saw cutting green Eastern Black Walnut and the saw got to hot to hold on to and the battery was still going.

I used this product for home, fixing things around the house, like putting up a shelf and building a doggy gate for my hallway, I bought these batteries to replace my old batteries, they were fully charge when I got them, so I did not have to recharge them asap, they worked and I did my little projects at home but once I tried to recharge them they did not recharge, I went ahead and bought a charger that was recommended when I bought these batteries and still no recharge, sometimes you just have to pay that extra money with the name brand ones to get a better quality battery, the crappy part is that I can’t return them 🤦🏽‍♂️

I should have given this product a 4 star instead of 5 because the batteries are not completely compatible with the chargers since it appears they cause the chargers to overheat. So you may need to charge where there is open air to cool them off (maybe put a fan next to them?) or the chargers will shut down prior to doing a full charge. But, I am still giving them a 5 star because once you get the batteries charged (they also seem to charge faster) they provide more power to my Dewalt Drills and a longer run time than they had when they were new... at least it seems this way since they are so much more powerful than with the original batteries. I have four 18V drills so I hated the idea of just throwing them away because of batteries... but now I do not have to. The one improvement that this company could do is sell a completely compatible charger to go with the batteries.

Was somewhat suspicious of this Dewalt replacement battery, but decided to chance it (price was GREAT, $36.00 for the pair). Been several months now and still powers up reliably and easily same power as the original Dewalt 18v batteries that came with the tools. Don't think you can get them at this price anymore, but still a better buy than the OEM ni-cads. These are Li-Ion, certainly working as well or better than ni-cads and no memory issues! Recommend A+++++

Works amazing with my drills but will not run 18volt XRP circular saw or angle grinder.
