This coffee is FANTASTIC! Super smooth, no bitterness. If you are looking for a great medium bodied coffee, this is it. Highly recommend it.

I do not like how this is packaged. I'm the only person in my house that drinks coffee. I drink about 3 cups a day. This is a single bag consisting of 5 lbs of beans - that is a lot of coffee. I think it would get a stale taste at the rate I consume coffee. I ended up getting my vacuum sealer out and packing this into smaller, vacuum sealed bags to keep it fresher. Ok, that is the only thing I did not care for about this coffee. The flavor was right one. It is a nice, bold breakfast coffee. It tasted fresh and had a nice after taste. The price is also better than others I have recently sampled. All things considered, this is a good price. I will likely buy this again - but will also have to vacuum seal it as I just don't think it will stay fresh in the 5lb bag. (Maybe this is for restaurants or offices with higher coffee consumption? I wish they used smaller bags).

Finally found a well bodied medium roast for our business! We have been buying for over a year and is joy to drink each morning. And love the fact that is from a smaller company.

Bought this as it was a good buy and thought I would try it. I usually buy Jose's 100% Colombian whole bean. This was good coffee. The flavor was fairly robust and generally consistent throughout the bag. 5# is actually too much for me and won't buy a large bag like that again. We only make one pot a day. We prefer Jose's after trying this, but it was decent coffee. The main reason I won't buy it again though is that after grinding the beans, the grounds stick to the plastic cup. It's a pain to have to brush them out each time. Some always gets on the counter. When the bag was finished, we went back to Jose and the grounds just slip right out into the filter.

I have bought this coffee for years. This last package of beans taste sour. we’ll have to try a new brand.

This is the best being coffee at the best price that I’ve come across in the US

I gave it a few weeks but this is some of the worst coffee I’ve ever had. The main issue is that the beans are an extremely dark roast even though I ordered medium and the bag says medium. Dark color, very oily and have a very charred taste and smell. The beans I received look and taste like they were “roasted” with a blow torch. Even evaluating as a dark roast, the beans taste bad. Others may have said it but it looks like it’s the product of a very inconsistent roasting and quality control. You can even see it in a few of the other customer images - some beans in the same image range from a very dark color with a few very lightly roasted beans mixed in. As some people have received decent beans, just be aware of getting bad beans. The cost is the only redeeming attribute and not worth the coin flip of quality. I won’t be ordering again but if you decide to order, I hope you get some decent beans! I gave away as much I can. After getting through what’s left, this coffee is going to make a generic store brand bean taste like a small batch artisan roaster so I’ve got that to look forward to.
