My daughter loves this for her bike. We put a soft sided cooler in it with lots of water and snacks for a 47 mile bike ride and it held up well. Great item

I use my bike for exercise and utility/inner city commute. For that reason, I wanted a basket option I could easily remove when I wasn't transporting things, and one that could be quickly added when I needed to carry groceries, etc. The original mounting system that comes with this basket requires zip ties or screws, neither of which are an option that allows for quick removal.This basket does however fit flawlessly with the Basil MIK system on my bike rack. I have a standard bontranger (trek) back rack. You'll need 2 pieces, both the Basil MIK Carrier Plate and the Basil MIK Adapter Plate. The Carrier plate attaches to your bike rack directly, and the Adapter plate is screwed on to basket. The basket then simply clicks in to place when you need it and can be removed with a key as part of the MIK system. One thing to note is that the carrier plate is screwed on to the rear rack, so its semi-permanently attached and not easily removed without tools. I didnt mind this as its low profile and light weight and I do not use my bike rack for anything beyond attaching a basket to carry stuff. I'll try to update once I take a few rides with it. I gave 4 stars because of this and the fact that I didnt actually use the mounting system which came with it.

I purchased 2 — for 2 bikes. I added a MIK adapter to the bottom and clipped them into the MIK-ready rear carriers on my bikes. Very nice.

I am very pleased with this product! It Came with the waterproof shield, all of the necessary equipment for installing, and instructions in English and another language. There are two different install options, one of which is for people who don’t have any tools on hand. I liked that it had that option because it makes it more accessible for a larger variety of people. I did both installing methods because I’m going to be using it for partially heavier items and I wanted extra strength and security. The only thing I would recommend for future buyers is if you use the screws and other hardware that’s included you want a second set of hands with the process. It was hard to stabilize the basket, screws, plate, and other equipment without it getting out of place. But by having a second set of hands one person could stabilize the basket and the other could focus on installing the screws. But with one screw is in place, the rest of it can be easily done by one person. It took less than 30 minutes but I didn’t really pay attention to time so it was probably a lot faster than that. I would highly recommend to a friend and if we have another bike in the future that we need this basket for I will definitely buy again

I would never know the basket could change my life. First, It’s easy to install but be careful to leave some room between the basket and your butt. I made the mistake of installing the basket too close to the seat. You know the outcome - very uncomfortable. The basket is sturdy and big enough. I can put groceries, 2 gallon of drinking water without any issues. In fact, I like riding the bike so much after having the basket. I ride the bike every morning to the park first then the grocery store to pick up meal ingredients for the day. Without the basket, I don’t think I would have used my bike that frequently. Love it!

First of all I like the size, its perfect for keeping my helmet and bike lock and can fit easily a back pack or a couple bags of groceries. It was super easy to install although I was a little nervous when it came to tightening the basket on the bike because the bracket and basket material is easily bent and i didn't want to break any hole into it. (Basket seems to be made from a super thin wire with a plastic coating on top that with little pressure seems that it can be broken through). I circled in red in one of the pictures a small defect that it had when it arrived, which I think happened when it was being made (again seems like its made of melted plastic and maybe some thin wire). I'm happy with it, but for the price I expected a better quality basket, I'd probably would shop around to find a better deal next time. By the way the cover that came with the basket had a very strong odor of some sort of chemical, it was very strong and smelled highly toxic... I have not used it and probably wouldn't feel comfortable using it when I have groceries in the basket.

Nice basket. Perfect fit for my bike seems very sturdy and can handle my items I carry with me. There is a cover for basket which I haven’t used yet.

Nice and sturdy quality easy to fit and a really nice size complete with a cover. I use this for my small dog as it’s the perfect size for her and the cover as a liner so she doesn’t get her claws caught in the mesh
