Sturdy and reliable
Used this bag on a $739 miles rides to Virginia Skyline Drive. Never had to worry about it moving around or being floppy. The harnesses are enough. And has a air bleed valve to squeeze the bag tight and let all the air out while doing it. Would recommend to a friend. Did ride in rain so cannot comment on water resistance but it does look like waterproof material.

Phenomenal product!
Strong fabric, well constructed! Used on a 2000 mile trip on the back of motorbike. Kept everything perfectly dry and added benefit of reflective lettering for visibility.

It stinks, literally, and is totally unusable
Open it up and the most-awful chemical odor pours out. Is someone supposed to be their clothing in there? Sleeping bags? Camping gear? I wouldn't put my garbage in it. The smell seem ingrained in the dry bag material itself, so it will foul the air for the indefinite future. Completely unusable.Very cheaply made, clearly. Previously I had dry bags by two different companies that were both night and day different that this pile of chemicals; they were vastly better made, and odor free. This bag is junk. Whoever gave it 4 and 5 star reviews must have been on the payroll. Can't imagine.Here's a tip: get the name brands--you know which they are. You'll pay about $50 more, when they get in stock again, alas, but you'll have something you can actually use. If you're really in a jam for something immediately available, try one of those heavy duty 20 to a box black trash bags . No odor, and they're about a dollar apiece. Not a great solution as they'll flap around on the back of your motorbike, but at least at the end of the day you won't face a terrible odor on all your stuff.

The straps are useless
I would give this 5 stars if it wasn't for the strap hooks missing the locking tabs, which if you zoom into the picture of them, you can see they are present on the should strap but not the bag straps. It makes the straps completely useless. The bag itself is nice.
