Great Product
I ordered these for both my wife and me and now that we've used them for a full boating season, I have to say they've been remarkable. Unlike the standard bulky life vests, these become unnoticeable when you're wearing them and are totally unobtrusive whether you're paddling a canoe or fishing from a larger boat. The vests gave both of us security on the water. Pay attention to what you order!! Some very similar vests are NOT Coast Guard approved and do not meet the state requirements for pdf usage.

Expensive, but worth it!
These are expensive, however, when it comes to a low profile vest which doesn’t interfere with paddling, it’s worth the money. I’m a paddle boarder, and find that other vests rub my arms as I am paddling. This one does not. It’s easy to use, easy to reload and super low-profile and comfortable, not to mention that it could potentially save your life. I chose this over the manual inflators because realistically, what if I hit my head, I won’t be able to pull the manual inflator then will I. Now I have comfort, and peace of mind: that is worth the money.

It literally saved my life!
I am a sailor, and have always wanted to have an inflatable PFD. I bought this to match my kayak. I went out yesterday and the wind came up and I ended up capsizing into 45 degree ocean water. I immediately went into cold water immersion shock and I just remember hearing the life vest inflate. I could hardly breathe because the water was so cold, and I floated on my back with my face up to try to reach a dock, where I held on and luckily was rescued by three men in a power boat. I was so weak that I couldn't stand up on my own after they pulled me out of the water. I am so glad to have had this PFD even though I wasn't planning on testing it out on the first kayak of the season. This is the first time I have ever capsized a kayak and this PFD definitely saved my life.

Give them a try!
These vests are so comfortable, lite weight, I bought 2 and enjoyed our boating trip even more, piece of mind knowing it would open for us if our boat capsized.
