Amazing headphones
I have always used Bose noise canceling headphones (A20s) in the planes I fly. The problem is, after about the 3rd hour in flight any over the ear headphones get uncomfortable. I was also getting some skin irritation from the earpads. So.... I went with the Pro Flight 2. I fly around 300 - 400 hours a year in small jets and need a good system to control noise. The Pro Flight 2 is amazing and I will never go back to the A20s. I also instruct in 172s and 182s. They are not quiet as quiet as the A20s but they work just fine. Added bonus... I do a lot of Zoom and Teams calls on my computer. They Bluetooth to my computer and I use them for computer calls too! The battery pack lasts for about a week. I listen to music on them all day and they cancel out the noise in the office. I have them on right now listening to Joe Satriani! GET YOU SOME!

Hot spot on top, occasional ear discomfort
Has a hot spot (area of pressure/discomfort) dead center over the head. Light as this is, the side supports don’t hold any weight for me, it was all on the too-tiny bar across the top. Ear plugs were great, till they weren’t. Longer flights tended to have one ear go into a phase of inability to be comfortable. Wouldn’t say painful, but a bother. Some flights were just fine. But the hot spot never went away.

Good But Not Great
I have noticed the ear inserts tend to break the seal during flights and have to be pushed back into place. I’ve tried different size combinations with the same issues. It can get aggravating. The ANR is surprisingly good. The Bluetooth audio quality is good and Bluetooth audio volume can be adjusted. THERE IS NO VOLUME CONTROL for communication audio on the control box. The issue is that if people in the plane are using other kinds of headsets, there is no way to adjust the ProFlight Series II volume. You end up getting lower volume as to not blast out the other headsets. Not having communication audio adjustment like the A20 or Aviation X headsets have is a real weakness.

Comfort for long flights
Not as easy to put on as the full ear cover of the Bose X. A bit less rugged than the X. Using in a turboprop which is quieter than a piston but Not as quiet as Most jets Once on you hardly notice it’s there

Noise cancellation doesn't work with a moderately noisy pressurized Turbine aircraft
Unable to clearly listen to communications due to natural noise in the cockpit. I'm flying a moderately noisy, pressurized Turbine aircraft and found it very difficult to listen to Radio Comm and Intercomm. This headset should not be used in moderately noisy aircraft cabins. I have compared it with the A20 model, and the noise difference is so huge. A20 really lets you listen well. But the Series 2, not. I will not recommend the Pro Flight Series 2 for use in a light Turbine aircraft.

Earbuds are uncomfortable. Cumbersome application.
I wanted to like these but for me those ear buds were fatiguing. That pressure in your ears will get to you. I tried all ear bud sizes on different days and on long flights of 6+ hours. Bose should look at their QC series and slap a TSO’d Mic on it with the same features and bluetooth capabilities. Come on Bose, you miss the mark here. Look at the NFlight Mic and it’s application on the QC25. It’s perfect, light, quiet, and practical. Those earbuds get all tangled up and dirty. Too many moving parts.

Best headset out there
Been using this headset for 2 years, and I cannot complain. IMO this is the current pinnacle of aviation headsets.
