These are great to have handy for more uses than just repairing chain.

Price and size were the deciding factor in these quick links .Use these to attach chain to my floating raft anchors.In the water so far for year plus and no rust, holing up well

Overall a good product but found a couple in the package were the QC was not as good. I had to dress out a bur on the threads with a file to get the nut to run smoothly.

Having recently had my Nikon SLR camera drop because of a poorly designed attachment, I found these quite handy to use with a strengthened key ring holder to attach to my SLR camera. The screw portion ensures that slippage or an accidental opening does not happen. I'm sure there are other uses for this, but my purchase was strictly for camera attachment while hiking in national parks and forests.

They are big for mounting stuff in my bird cages so I use them between smaller mounting equipment. They are stainless steel so you don't have to worry about poisoning your birds. These quick links are thick enough that short of pulling a car behind them they should be able to stand up to anything.

I bought these to keep my extra links on my tire chains from hitting my wheel wells, and have someway to fix a broken tire chain. they wont rust, will work fine. I would'nt use this size to fix a broken chain used for binding down equipment on trailers.. they have better suited sizes for that.

The gap between the ends are inconsistent between each link. Some won't even link together because of this. Could hand stretch them to work around the issue which brings into questions how well these would last under load.i guess you get what you pay for
