I love the thickness of this pillow as I have a short neck but man is it hard. I am hoping it breaks down some with sitting on it for awhile if it does I will come back and change the review but as of now it is too hard to sleep on.

If you are a petite person (especially if you own any type of memory foam mattress) you absolutely need this pillow. I am only 5’2” and have been searching for YEARS for a pillow that wasn’t too thick or stiff but would still support my neck in a neural position. When you have a memory foam mattress like I do you, you sink down a bit and need a thinner pillow.Seriously I have tried like thousands of pillow (And I am talking about some really expensive memory foam type pillows, gel pillows, water filled pillows, regular stuffed pillows, and the list goes on.... they were either too thick, too stiff, or gave no neck support - like the stuffing from the reg type of pillows would just move out from under my neck while I moved in my sleep and as for the water pillows the water just seems to go wherever there is the least weight so like mostly up around your head but then adding more water just made the pillow too stiff. Also, I am normally a side sleeper so I do normally use the flat side of the pillow, but a few times I needed to elevate my foot and had to lie on my back and turned the pillow to used the side with the neck bump. I had no neck pain with that either even though it is just not as comfortable for me to sleep on my back.I have had this pillow for about 3 months or maybe a bit longer and it is still as perfect as the day I bought it. This being the case though I can’t really vouch for its overall lifespan at this point, but honestly no matter how long it lasts, because of it being foam and all foam loses its stiffness eventually, (which is something that just happens to memory foam anything over time from mattresses to pillows to shoes etc...), but I would gladly just keep spending the money to buy another and another if I had to, because nothing compares to how it has helped me, and of course everything wears out over time. It does seem like it is made of good quality foam but is not too dense that it is too stiff. I think it will have a good lifespan. I also bought one for each of my daughters, and they both love them as well. I have a feeling it would work well for most children even if they aren’t petite. Also, I just wanted to say with all honestly that I don't really ever right reviews even when I should. But I just had to review this pillow, because it has changed my life.One last thing, it did take quite a long time to get these pillows, but for us it was worth it.

The memory foam in this one is perfect! It’s soft yet supportive. Does not collapse but gives just right. Very cooling (noticeably so for me). Just the right thickness for me as a side sleeper on a very soft foam mattress topper. I find the best support for my neck when I flip it upside down and rest on the thicker end. The only issue is the zipper in the middle of the back of the pillow, but I can just pull the pillow itself out if it starts getting to me. It’s a really comfortable pillow if you need a thin one!

Just a little too thin

This is extremely thin. I feel Like it has potential to be a really good pillow but it’s so thin it feels like nothing. Sad it didn’t work out for me :(

Close to perfect pillow. Thinner than the others. The new memory foam smell faded fast after leaving hanging outside for about 24 hours.
