A little larger than expected, but great lumbar support, high quality, easy to assemble
I initially purchased another product from Amazon to replace my old home office chair. The other chair was good-looking and easy to assemble, but the lumbar support was anemic. I gave it away to a colleague's college-aged son. It works for him. This chair is excellent and very easy to assemble. The lumbar support is substantial and dynamically adjusts with the chair's recline. Sitting straight up and working, the support is comfortably firm. Tilted back, the support relaxes like reclining in a well-worn baseball mitt. The quality of the material, stitching, and padding is excellent. The lift range is longer than other chairs I've had, so finding a comfortable height for any activity is easy. I'm a guitar player and record at my desk, so the retractable arms are convenient. The back might appear to support the neck or head in the photos. It does not. I'm six feet, and the padded upper back settles comfortably at my upper shoulder blades. As I said in the headline, the chair is a bit larger than I expected for my little home office, but it's comfy.

Big chair, good quality, with a trick to assembling it
When I assembled this chair, I ran into a problem that I was eventually able to solve, but I couldn’t find any instructions that would have shown me how. So to save yourself some time and stress: when you attach the back of the chair to the seat, you will need to connect a metal tongue protruding from the back piece to a similar part protruding from the seat. But it may seem like the piece from the back isn’t long enough for the two parts to connect properly. What I didn’t realize at first is that you might have to pull the part sticking out from the back with some force in order to get it into position. The reason is that the part on the back is meant to move in and out: it actually operates the mechanism that makes the lumbar support protrude when you sit up straight but retract when you lean back. So if it’s not sticking out far enough, just pull it smoothly but firmly until it comes out all the way, and you should be able to connect the parts as per the instructions without difficulty. This is a big, strong, sturdy, comfortable desk chair. It’s a good choice for a biggish person who wants a lot of support while sitting. The price is quite reasonable. But it takes up a fair amount of floor space, it’s heavy, and the arms are wide set, so if you’re not a tall person, you might not be able to rest both your elbows at the same time. I suspect that a medium-to-small person might be happier with a more modestly sized alternative.

Awesome value for a really nice chair
The deal on the brown leather chair was too good to pass up. I chose the brown leather versus the black leather chair and saved about $60 but the truth is that the brown chair looks better (in my opinion) than the black chair. The assembly couldn't have been simpler and the chair was up and working within 10 minutes. After making a few. adjustments, I have a comfortable and supportive executive office chair. I am able to lean back and rock the chair slightly if I would like too. So far with daily use, I have not tired of the look or feel of this chair. The leather seating area seems durable but time and use will end up telling the truth about the quality of the seating surface. I would definitely recommend this chair for the $109 that I spent and I would be willing to spend $200 or more after using the chair for the past two weeks.

It is very, very comfortable during long stints in the chair
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I must have looked at 100 chairs and have owned a few....this is by far the best chair I have ever owned and I spend a good 8-10 hours in it every day......It supports so well and flip up arm rests means it can fit under the desk and out of the way when it is not in use. It has excellent lumbar support and my butt doesn't hurt for once in ages....Ease of assembly, don't really need the instructions if you've put one of these chairs together before. <My only gripe are the wheels....They are hard plastic and they sound cheap and terrible on tile, so I switched them to the quiet nylon wheels I had on my old chair....now I have the best of both worlds. Height adjustment: Height adjustment and locking and unlocking the back rest are done by two small paddle actuators on either side of the chair.

Comfortable and well padded chair. I have two of them now as they are way ahead of other comparable priced desk Chairs in comfort and quality.

NOT high back Executive Chair. Decent mid back manager / task chair.
Office Chair Definition: * Low-back is standard desk chair, typically for short period use where the user sits and stands frequently. * Mid-Back is built to support the full back, typically has additional features, lumbar support and comfort features for sitting 2-3 hours at a time. * High Back is built to support the full back with head support. They are typically full featured and designed for comfort in the 3-6 hour range. I'm 5'8" which is 2" under average US male height. This Mid-Back Chair comes to the base (bottom) of my neck having NO head rest. The vinyl/faux leather is well tailored, similar to a mid price car vinyl interior. The chair is sturdy without tip over concerns @ my 210lbs and assume it would be the same up to the 270lb rating. Lumbar is high on me, several inches above my lumbar area. Probably would fit folks 5'11 and above. It has a strange flex "feature", so its reasonable comfortable. When the chair rocks backward, the lumbar support goes away and when you come forward the lumbar support returns and firms. I don't know if this is a "feature" or an annoyance but leaning towards annoyance. The arm padding is not sufficient. I added $20 worth of padding. The arms do swing up and out of the way so the chair will go under a home desk. With the chair on its very lowest height it will go under my home office desk with arms in place. But that is too low for me @5'8". All in all, IF the chair was properly identified as Mid-Back, it would be an average value for the price and most people should be reasonably satisfied with the quality. IF YOU TRULY NEED AN EXECUTIVE High-Back CHAIR and spend MORE than 3 hours at a time sitting, are over 5'4" or more 250lbs, I can't imagine this chair being the one for you. I've bought corporately and know how to rate chairs for the task they will be used for. However, Amazon doesn't. They do not offer the search filters to make reasonable comparisons nor seem to know or enforced one style from another. When the main characteristic is labeled wrong, it makes successful buying difficult. Hope you find this helpful.

Very comfortable and seem sturdy
I bought this for my music studio where I move around a lot to and from the desk. I was also able to raise the arms and play guitar, mandolin and fiddle. It was very comfortable for the few hours I used it, after I put it together. Assembly was really easy. I only needed to look at the pictures to see where a part was supposed to go. Once you got that it's a piece of cake. I was going to buy a lazyboy but the reviews were scary. I saw this one on amazon and saw the reviews and thought I had better go with this one and save some money. My wife said she loved it. She came into my studio and sat in the chair and did not want to get up. I was surprised when she said she loved it. I may have to get another.

Hurts my back
I bought two of these chairs when the pandemic started - one for me and one for my kid. I had brown furniture in the family room, so I decided to add two desks and turn it into a make-shift office. It's been almost a year now, and I feel that I can write a review. I am not a fan of people who review 5 minutes after they bought a product. So here it goes. I liked the chair for the first month or two. Then the seat started sinking in, and the back was too far (I'm 5 ft tall), so I had to buy a back cushion. My hips started hurting, so I bought a seat cushion. The chair is no ergonomic, nor is it a long term solution. It looks comfortably overstuffed, but it's really not. I often feel like I'm sliding to the right, as if the seat is slightly tilted. My son is 10 and he is like any other bouncy boy - in and out of the chair during the school day. Unlike me he doesn't spend a solid 8 hours sitting down. He likes the chair, but he also doesn't weigh as much as me. I recently swapped our chairs and noticed that his seat was still hard (and not sunken in). The best features of this chair are the arm rests that can be raised so the chair can fit under the desk. Overall, I think it's a decent chair for short term use in wait rooms. But if you plan on sitting for 8 hours per day, you will regret this purchase within a month. The lumbar support deflates after a while and you will need a pillow or a cushion. My daughter has a simple black office chair and I find hers a lot more comfortable.
