Exceptional Quality
I am collector of tarot decks and will say that I am very impressed with the quality of this deck (especially considering the price point). I find the imagery over all pleasing. Several cards are stand outs with only a scant few that, for me personally, are a miss. This deck has bright energy right out of the box and is appropriate for novice and intuitive readers. I was drawn to the color palette and illustration style and greatly appreciate that it is gender and race inclusive. The book (b/w), while small in size, includes upright (light seer) and reverse (shadow seer) meanings plus an illuminating paragraph and affirmation for each card. Nice sturdy box. Cards, book, and box are finished with a matte laminate that will protect and keep them looking good for a very long time. At times I prefer a more sophisticated deck however, I believe this deck will become a friend that I will enjoy into the unforseeable future.

Beautiful Art!!! Cardstock Questionable! Check Updates. (Added Update*) + (Update**)
To Chris-Anne, Bravo in the release of your hard work through a publisher! To Hay House, Boo in the horrible choice in card stock. I am highly disappointed in the flimsy card stock used to present this wonderful art work with its well executed visual messages. I did not know about these cards until recently, or I would have happily purchased them during the fund raising process, because all of the videos that I have watched and drooled over have reported Great Card Stock, shuffles easy, Beautiful work, etc. The card stock that I received looks and feels cheap, and the "die cut" curls a bit inward on the Image side, indicating that they were cut/punched with the backs facing up. I wouldn't dare shuffle these cards, because I know from experience that these are likely to chip on the edges very easily. I also noticed that the cards have strange bends throughout this deck, further causing me to think more about not shuffling them for fear of premature damage. The box is beautiful! The book looks well done, however, I have not opened it because unfortunately I am going to return the cards I have anxiously awaited, and stick it out for a renewed and much better cardstock. You can do it Hay House! I KNOW you can! Meanwhile, Chris-Anne, thank you for all of your gorgeous work, and I look forward to getting this beloved deck again in the near future. UPDATE* Hay House has promptly contacted me about a replacement deck for early next year 2020! I am very grateful, and I look forward to enjoying my new and long awaited cards. I have got the good FEELS! I will update after receiving. UPDATE ** Hay House replacement deck arrived just shortly after the new year, and I am pleased with the communication and the quality of this deck! The cardstock has a similar look as the original mass produced deck, only it is a tad thicker, therefore more durable. No bends, no inward curled edges, and cards are flush cut! Yea!!! I waited a little while before doing this update because I wanted to work with this deck a bit to test durability because I am not used to shuffling this type of cardstock. It has what I might call a high quality cardboard look and feel, much like the cardboard decals that come with some toys, or the very old paper doll punch out sets from the 70's. (Yep, I am that old.) The images look fantastic, same as before, they shuffle well, I shuffle the cards face side up (when using the rifle shuffle method) because that is the way of least resistance; the paper grain works easiest that way. Otherwise, if I rifle shuffle face down the cards are stiff and slap downward in chunks. Overall, I am happy with my replacement deck.

I'VE NEVER SEEN A MORE BEAUTIFUL DECK! Give it a try!
I'll preface by saying I'm no expert in spirituality. I've only recently started diving into the many layers, the many forms, the many expressions and tarot cards was the first part I discovered. There's so much to say about decks, whether they should have traditional art, or whether the art should be expressive etc etc. Having been so confused at the time about what should be the determining factor of what makes a deck, I came across a simple video with the key words "trust your intuition". And boy was that the MOST ACCURATE thing I've heard. I first came across the deck in a deck collection video and I remember feeling so drawn to how vivid and detailed the art was that I thought to myself, this is it, this is the first deck I want. And I bought it pretty much the same day. So here's my takeaways having worked with this deck for quite some time now. Firstly, THE ART. It is so beautifully done. Even without having a detailed intuition, one can easily interpret the meanings of each card. I love the representations of different races that is prevalent throughout the deck as it really gives this meaning that the deck is for everyone and everyone can read tarot. The art ties deeply into both the surface meanings, and their hidden implications. For example: many know the 3 of Swords to be a betrayal card but the art beautifully draws in the fact that it could represent a time to recover and heal. Each card seems to always take deeper meanings into play and that includes all the minor arcana as well, not just the majors. On the topic of the deeper meaning, ITS PERSONALITY. One of the things I've discovered about reading is that decks have more energy than we give them credit for and this leads to them having their own personality. And this deck LOVES deeper meanings. You'll find that your readings will draw deep into the unknown, the suppressed or the hidden to give you the reading that you might not have asked for, but unknowingly needed. It's the kind of deck that gives you a ray of light in a dark situation or a new perspective or guiding you to remember what it is you've put away and neglected. This might be a negative thing for those who want lighter, heartier readings and don't always want a reading that's too deep but for someone with lots to unpack like myself this is a large pro in my book. The Cardstock. It's not exactly the greatest, but pricing considered it's arguably worth it. The stock bends nicely but I've personally decided not to riffle shuffle as it tends to leave some nicks on the edges of the cards and it could be my own OCD habits but they tend to rattle me a bit but should you love to riffle shuffle you won't find it to be troublesome. Lastly, THE GUIDEBOOK. As someone who bought this deck as a beginner, the guidebook was a necessity. Not a basic guidebook. Not a pamphlet. But a detailed guidebook that would take me through the entirety of the card from its surface meanings straight down to all its hidden implications and the guidebook does WONDERS in achieving that. It leaves little surface meanings for both the upright and reversal meanings of the card followed by a detailed message on the entirety of what the card represents. I find that reading the surface meanings will help trigger my own intuition nicely, however for cards that elude me, the following paragraph(s) clears everything up for me quite nicely. All in all, I must give this deck 5 stars. It's been a favored deck by many, some of whom have been in the business for years. That speaks highly of it already. While not many will feel that connection to the deck, for those who do and those whom are interested, I can guarantee that you will not regret adding this deck to your collection. Wonderful job, Chris-Anne!

These cards are beautiful. Great for intuitive readers as there is something in the images that calls upon one's intuition to work. The energy of the cards I received are very positive also which is quite amazing.

This is my first proper deck, my previous one was a cheap RW that wasn’t very good quality. The connection to this deck was instant and my intuition kicked in straight away. Like I can read it instantly, I’ve never had that with my last deck. It felt so flat. This is absolutely beautiful. I did an introductory reading that made me cry it spoke to me so well. I can see this being my favourite. Just gorgeous ❤️
