Comfy, sticky yoga socks.
When I started looking at grip socks - omg, the reviews to pour through. A couple common complaints about these types of socks recur - the grip isn't good enough, not enough little dots, doesn't work for Pure Barre class because of the carpets. I wore these to Pure Barre class tonight and they worked well. My only challenge was on the to plank because the dots don't extend all the way down to the seam, but I looked at the socks they sell (for twice the price) at the studio, and it's about the same coverage. They're comfortable and grippy! So yes - you can use for Pure Barr with the carpets. On a side note - most wonderful customer service I've ever seen out of an Amazon vendor. Followed up personally both before and after I received the order.

Socks do not provide a strong grip
These socks do not have a strong grip. I started taking barre workout classes, which require grip socks, and these socks did not help me at all especially while in plank position. My feet kept slipping on the carpet. The dots on the balls of the feet that are supposed to provide grip somehow sunk into the sock and is almost slippery as I run my hands over them. In the picture I posted, you can kind of see the fuzziness from the sock material covering the actual gripping dots. Although these socks do not provide any grip, they are quite soft and stretchy. These might good for walking around the house on wooden floors to prevent slips? I don't know if these being specifically "yoga" grip socks has any effect on my poor experience, but I will definitely not use them for barre workouts.

FEELING CONFIDENT AGAIN.....
At last ALL-COTTON NON-SKID SOCKS that I spent days searching the web for! These are exactly what I wanted & hoped they would be. (Most of the others I found had bad reviews....cheaply made, poor fit, grippers falling off, synthetic material).I'm 90 and needed a sock I could wear paddling around on my hardwood floors without falling. I wear a size 9.5 shoe and this size fits.Very pleased with my purchase. Will reorder.

These socks are a great buy
I LOOOOOOOVE these socks! Now, I didn't buy them for yoga. I bought them because we're a shoes-free hardwood floor household, and I almost took a tumble down the stairs. I wear these as slippers over my regular socks around the house. The issues I've had with similar products in the past, like soft slippers, is the little grippy dots would get crumbly and fall off after a couple washes. These socks are really well made and after several washes in warm water, inside out, and low dry, they are still like new. They provide excellent traction on slippery surfaces, so I imagine if I were to be doing yoga or something else with poses, these would get the job done. Great arch support, too.

They're fine if you're not doing much in terms of movement
I bought these specifically for Pound classes, and have also been using them for Barre. I'm between an 8-8.5 in shoes, and I find these to be a little big. They're fine if you're not doing much in terms of movement, but they're not the best for Pound (during some moves they were twisting around so the non-slip part would be at the top) and they would slip off a bit. I stopped wearing them for Pound because having to fix them every few minutes took away from my workout, but they're still okay for Barre. I think if they fit tighter they would be perfect.

GREAT SOCKS FOR DISABLED FOLKS AND YOGIS!
I am 100% disabled. The visiting nurse service recommended I purchase high quality floor-grip socks since I was not able to stand by myself. I bought these socks-- the BEST floor grip socks I've ever worn. I actually loved them so much I bought more. Now that I can walk a bit, I rely on these socks to keep me from slipping and they get the job done.As for yoga? I had to stop doing yoga 12 years ago, but if I was still practicing Hatha Yoga (or T'ai Chi) I would DEFINITELY wear these socks.Great seller.Highly recommended socks (they're soft, durable, and warm. They don't lose their thickness in the washing machine or dryer, either).

Ok, not great. Planking was difficult; flat-footed work was manageable.
They fit nicely, not too snug. However, the grips on the bottom don't work very well on carpet. There needs to be more grip buttons near the toes. It's nearly impossible planking, my feet would continuously slide back. They were ok when working with the barre. It gave me enough grip when flat footed but not when working on my toes with resistance.

Good for home wear, not great for barre classes
I got these to try out for barre classes. The stick on the bottom is ok for walking around the house on non-carpeted floors, but it is not ideal for barre classes (typically needing much stickier socks for the carpeted classes). They are very comfy, and would definitely recommend if wearing for a class that has hard wood floors.
