This kit works as described
I read a lot of the reviews before I purchased this kit and let me be honest, I was a bit apprehensive about purchasing this. I read several of the reviews where it was stated that modifications were needed to make the radio fit. Several people wrote that they had to modify or file down the housing to make the head unit fit properly. I have installed many aftermarket car stereos in my time and let me just say that this kit was the easiest one to work with yet. To make the head unit fit into the housing, you MUST remove the trim ring around the face of the radio along with the metal sleeve around the head unit (the sleeve has all of the tabs to bend out to hold in place on other install kits). Once installed, this kit makes the install look factory. I was very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend it. The kit I purchased was for a 2006 Pontiac G6 and I installed a single din Pioneer radio into the vehicle, looked great when done.

Worked for 2006 Chevy Cobalt
It worked... not sure what else to say, but my kid was able to get it installed with only a few glitches, mainly to do with the fuse, because there weren't many instructions included. She used the windshield wiper fuse.

Versatile
Perfect fit for 05 pontiac g6. No problems installing, none afterwards. Recently took out this set up and had no issues with that either can probably reuse with another head unit

Clips did not work with my car and screws were to small to mount radio. I was able to modify it to works and looks great installed. Someone who isn’t as handy would be very disappointed I think.

DO NOT BUY!!
If I could give a “negative star”, I would!! This kit did NOT fit a standard radio! It would of had to of been cut on BOTH sides in order for my aftermarket radio to fit in the plastic frame.For reference: I have a 2006 Pontiac G6.Also; the wiring harness didn’t have all the wires that I needed for my radio to work!!DO NOT BUY!!!
