SCRUBIT Natural Sponges: A good alternative to ordinary grocery store sponges!
These are good sponges! The only problem I find is with the abrasive side of the sponge which starts disintegrating fairly soon after initial use. I am not fond of the “strings” of material sticking out from that side of the sponge, but it isn’t a dealbreaker. I simply cut them off.

a more hygienic dishwashing experience
small thin sponge waiting to be re-hydrated to expands into an almost full size kitchen sponge. Scrubber side is useful, this sponge lasts a long time, and it is great that it is biodegradable. I appreciate changing to a new clean sponge more often in my kitchen without guilt, for a more hygienic dish washing experience. I cut it in half to make a small sponge to use on my pet's dished to avoid commingling germs. Well priced and easy to store 10 if them in no space at all under the sink.

Never Smell
I love these sponges, they never smell and they are biodegradable!

Not the same: Now half as thick, twice as hard.
When I originally purchased these, they were fantastic. Long lasting, average thickness, flexible, quality. This recent batch I got was packaged differently, which should have been my first clue something was wrong. Instead of in a box, they were vacuum packed in plastic, which was literally what I'm trying to avoid. But even after rehydration, they were half as thick as the originals. While being twice as thick. After breaking a mason jar trying to use this to eat dishes, these have been relegated to cleaning the toilet and litter box. Never again.

Quality Change
These sponges have changed in quality from the first package purchased. The scrubber portion shreds and deteriorates quickly in opposition to the previous package I used. That’s too bad – I really like the concept.

Disappointed
I have bought several of these over the years. Same size as the competition. Now they have now reduced the size by half. Very disappointing. Shrinkage…. I will not buy them again

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Used some before and lasted good to scrub kitchen pots plates so I ordered more from Amazon

These work fine. However, a bit expensive for a bunch of sponges as they are not all natural.
