I have a couple of circulators but this unit does seem a little better build quality. It is quiet compared to the others but you can hear any motor run but this unit does not sound intrusive.So far it as performed well and it connected to WiFi on a Mesh system OK but the app does need some attention as it's a little buggy but it is nice to be able to keep an eye on things when away from home.The unit does not shut down after the set cook time is reached so food will stay at the set temperature until you turn it off.I am happy with it so far and it does have a two-year warranty and a good customer forum.

There’s clearly a massive quality issue with the current stock - see pic showing the broken top before it was even removed from the box. So instead of sharing fun and yummy sous-vide experiences this Christmas, I've purchased gift-giving embarrassment and a returns admin task to get sorted during my holiday. Thought Anova would have sorted it based on all the reviews showing this issue, so I took a risk and bought one, but no, and no reply within 48 hours after contacting them, so I’ll have to return and go to another brand. I strongly recommend not taking a risk and not buying one of these. Anova are not the brand they used to be.UPDATE: amazon have been amazing trying to help and sent out a replacement anyway. It too is broken in the same way, so is being returned. I suggest not buying until reviews are consistently good again (make sure to sort by most recent) as its not possible to get a functioning one at the moment it seems (they are great when they work!)ANOTHER UPDATE: finally heard back from anova - it's been weeks and christmas gifting is well past; no apology about providing multiple broken products or human recognition of ruined christmas gift. Only suggestion they made is to get amazon to send yet another one. I decided it's not worth the risk to find It's also broken (not amazon's fault anova's products are literally rubbish; amazon have been as helpful as they could be in the circumstances). Seems Anova are now a low quality brand with awful customer service - I'd advise not to buy.

Putting this in a polycarbonate water bath designed for the Anova Nano works brilliantly to pasteurise 500ml cider in bottles. I set it to 145F for 25 mins and it keeps the water at exactly that temp, ensuring the liquid in all my cider bottles gets up to 140F and stays there fo 20 mins. Add warm water to the bathm, put in 6-8 bottles and off you go.The only hassle is that the app is not easy to find on Android. I had to find a You Tube how to in order to find what the app was called because Android kept giving me the wrong app when I typed in Anova Nano. But once found, this thing is geat!

Nice and easy to use, free from cooking now! Instruction is clear and cook the most tender food in the world

The ease of use is incredible. Can’t get the app to work sadly so no wifi connectivity - but the cooking control you have with this is amazing. We have cooked beef for 24 hours and never had beef like it. Incredible. Steaks will never be the same again and chicken is simply the best! Highly recommend.It’s lovely knowing you’ve got that temperature control spot on!

I had another model bought on here which went wrong twice. It was not as good as this unit..... I am very impressed.Not the most powerful, in terms of heating the water from cold, but this is easily solved by adding warm water.The phone app is a nice touch.Well made and intuitive... one of the best gadgets I have in my kitchen!Highly recommend.

Worked for approx 6 times, then broke down. Garbage.
