Diprobase Eczema Cream 1500g for Treatment of Eczema Symptoms and Dry Skin

Diprobase has been reformulated with multiple new ingredients and new packaging in Jan 2022. The new bottles are more compact and use less plastic. The new ingredients are better for the environment.The cream feels different, thinner, more slippery, oilier. It goes further and feels good on my skin.Update: I was very concerned about the reformulation. I am totally reliant on diprobase because everything else I’ve tried has made me itch. After using the new formula for a few months I’m delighted to report that my skin has actually improved. I have a few bottles of the old formula to use up and it has been disappointing to return to. The new formula really is an improvement. I’m able to use less cream, it’s easier to apply, and my skin is not been at all itchy.

I was so disappointed when I received the new formula diprobase rather than the original one shown in the photo. The New bottle has a flimsy pump, one arrived completely broken. New formula can sting, is very thin and silky in texture and has a strange smell. I am so gutted Bayer felt the need to "improve " what was a fantastic cream.

Original diprobase was superb - best emollient cream on the market bar none. But for some reason Bayer have decided to replace it with this new formula whilst selling it under the same name. It's horrible - runny like hydromol but stings like mad on any sensitive or broken skin. Not suitable in any way for eczema sufferers as it's going to make skin worse and maybe cause lasting damage. Time to start looking for a replacement.

Have suffered from severe chronic eczema for years. Don't kid yourself, nothing cures it, but this product is excellent at moisturising, and that can help a lot. Definitely superior to BP Aqueous cream, which is pleasingly cheap but has emulsifiers etc that aren't great. Diprobase is an excellent, non-steroidal, help in keeping your skin relatively happy. If your problems are major, you should be able to get it prescribed.

Use this as a moisturizer to keep psoriasis at bay not much change back to original moisturizer

Used to get it free from hospital but now have to buy it. It does what it is supposed to do

A very good moisturiser for dry sensitive skin,unperfumed.

Still the original good quality and value.
