Bombproof quality.
Everything we've come to expect from pelican products. If you're in the market for one, you already know what this cases are all about: bombproof quality. In case someone is in the same situation I was before I bought the 1560: I have a LowePro CompuTrekker Plus AW which I needed to fit snuggly into a waterproof case. This case will perfectly fit this backpack even if it is full of equipment. Had I trusted what a Pelican representative told me, I would have never bought this case, since they say the backpack wouldn't fit the case. It does and it fits like a glove.

Amazing quality
My husband is a mechanic, he got this for his travel tools when he goes on roadtrips. Even fully loaded down with tools it rolls, is stable and feels solid. Very happy

awesome case
This case is great. Has a very positive snap to close. Area for lock is fine however my TSA lock just barely fits. Somehow TSA idiot locked backwards and I had a heck of a time unlocking it.

Heavy Duty, used as top case on motorcycle
This was bolted to the back of my motorcycle (KLR650) and used as a top case. I also bought the organizer that screws into the lid. Holds a ton of stuff and helped keep my stuff drive a on a 4 state journey. I unbolted the handle and wheels and made my own brackets for mounting.

Won’t stay closed without some extra help
Doesn’t stay latched when checked on the airlines. I have this case and a 1510 (same style but different sizes). When I check them on the airlines most of the time one or more of the latches is popped open when I collect my bag. I contacted Pelican and they want to send me new latches but it’s the design, not faulty latches. I have started putting zip-ties in the padlock holes and this keeps them shut. Otherwise they are great cases.

Pelican 1560 for range loadout
I appreciate Pelican's good quality products historically. I did find the 1560's lid be thinner than i would like. This made closing and snapping the lid difficult if I overloaded the case and ever-so-sligjtly torquing the body a bit.

Best luggage
I use a few Pelican cases for luggage, yup thats right, just for luggage. A 1560 can fit about a weeks worth of clothes for me, and if I’m going on a longer trip, I daisy chain these with a Large S Biner from Nite Ize and pull them around the airport like a little train. Never have to buy a suitcase again and its perfect to sit on if theres a wait at the counters.
