I was initially unsure about ordering this as opposed to an item half as expensive. Even after receiving the item, I was still unsure. Cons: 1. Price: almost twice as expensive. 2. Weight: heavy to hold for a long time. Pros: 1. Although heavier, it appears to be built well, perhaps leading to durability. 2. According to the description, it was built to be much quieter. Although I can't truthfully state that is so, I do notice the noise is a LOWER pitch sound. I'd trade that any day over the high pitched shrill of the blow dryers I usually purchase. 3. Independent buttons for the Heat settings and Wind Speed settings: The 3 heat, 2 air flow speed (plus the Cold Shot button) settings allow you to select the setting that works best for you and your hair. 4. Buttons: even the rocker-style buttons are placed in the best position on the blow dryer so your fingers aren't continually hitting them and accidentally turning it on or off. 5. Air Flow: Air flow is maximized through a slightly narrower nozzle. Your hair dries more quickly. 6. Full sized: Does a full-sized job! 7. Accessories: nice to have for styling your hair. 8. Temperature: While it doesn't get as scorching hot as my old dryer, it still dries my hair effectively and efficiently-and with no burned scalp. So, although it isn't totally what I expected, it does the job much more efficiently than I expected. If it lasts 3 or more years (with all the use it gets around my house), I'd buy it again-just for the sound quality. I really like how this dryer performs!

This is my SECOND one purchasing! I absolutely LOVE how quickly this hair dryer works. I am an African American person who uses this on relaxed shoulder length hair. It drys my hair in about 7-10 minutes. Although my daughter begged me for a different hair dryer, she took my first one from me once she saw how well it works. My daughter has very thick natural hair. It drys and detangkes her hair in less than half the time of the one she begged for! I am EXTREMELY HAPPY with my purchase!

Very powerful made well great price

Very pretty, works as expected. I dropped it on accident and it didn't break or crack. So far I've only used the comb attachment, and its held up to my kinky textured hair. My only complaint is that the buttons get in the way. The dryer has alittle bit of weight to it, so when im using it i really have to grip the handle firmly. And I keep hitting the on/off and different modes buttons.

The buttons are well placed so you don't accidentally turn it off or change the heating settings while in use. I have long, medium thick hair and it took 7 minutes to dry. My hair is noticeably smoother and softer than it ever was with my last dryer. It usually looks like hay and I have to hurry and curl it before people mistake me for the swamp thing. But I can now just leave it as is after drying. It's so soft and smooth! The dryer has a nice long cord also. Highly recommend.

After browsing many hair dryers online, I settled on this one because the cord is nice and long and because it doesn't trip my breaker. My old hair dryer always tripped the breaker and I had to dry my hair in a different room. With this hair dryer, I can dry my hair where I want to and it doesn't trip the breaker. I don't know why more hair dryer companies don't have long cords like this. It was kind of tough to find this, but I'm glad I did.

This hair dryer not only functions well, but it's a really beautiful color and has a beautiful, sleek design to match.
