Great vitamin. This was recommended for a kidney dialysis center. It would be nice if it was a prime item. Shipping was a little long

Important for recovery
This was recommended to us by the medical staff where we receive kidney dialysis. Dialysis , while cleaning the blood also loses your vitamins in the process. This medication is what they call renal supplement which means it does stay in the body because it's water soluable. It helps restore & recover after treatment. The zinc is an important part & the Vitamin D. It's an oral pill & is taken at night.

Awful smell and taste
Purchased these for 83 year old mother with kidney disease and she refuses to take them after 4 days. They smell awful and have an after taste so bad she won't take anymore. So I can't say if they do or don't work.
