Fun Read (Quite an experience)
I absolutely hate the epilogue of the book. It leaves you scratching your head and thinking about the book for days to follow, but overall it's a really good book. It's a very mysterious book about two men working together to find a serial killer, but everything is more complex than it seems. The whole book leaves the reader guessing and wondering and has some very fast paced scenes. The good thing is that the book isn't too exciting or riveting, so anyone who wants to read it shouldn't be afraid that the book might be too much of an emotional roller coaster, but it isn't too little of an emotional roller coast either. It's just the right amount of drama, action, mystery, and emotion.

As close to Sheldon as you would like.
I started reading Sidney Sheldon books after exhausting Harrold Robbins. It was a long time ago, give me a break.I had wondered what had become of this writer, now I know. The main thing I remember was the howling fast pace of his books, so fast the pages nearly caught fire.Coming across this new batch I had to dive in. Tilly Bagshawe?Ok! Ok! Hang on! Yup, the pace is well up to Sheldon's speed as is the storyline if not a little more so. As if the man were alive to be writing today, Tilly has captured everything that Sheldon was known for and I have been more than well pleased with this book, "Angel of the Dark", currently halfway through my next, "The Silent Widow".My thanks to Tilly Bagshawe for keeping Sidney Sheldon 'alive'. A blast from my reading past rekindled big time.As for the story, ah go buy the book.Okay. International murders of seriously wealthy men that start off in the States, on to Europe, and the Far East. An added bonus was the insight into the workings of Interpol. I can't think of anyone that has brought that organisation onto the pages of a novel before to this degree. To sum up.Think of Steve McQueen in "The Great Escape" with his cohorts sampling the moonshine they brew - wow.

I had high expectations
I am a BIG fan of Sidney Sheldon. He was the first author I read in highschool. Eventhough I know that this is definitely NOT Sidney Sheldon, I expected too much! The story is so outrageous and so obvious! I have predicted the whole plot by the second murder. I was wondering why the detectives, and even the INTERPOL cannot figure it out. The only thing that surprised me was the ending. I cannot figure out the significance of the ending. Overall an OK story but still not even close to being a Sheldon quality. Too bad his family is selling his name!

Another bestseller for Tilly Bagshawe
This lady writes for Sidney Sheldon, and she does an exceptional job. I pre-ordered, woke up at 5:00 am on the morning of April 3rd when the book was downloaded on my kindle, and began reading. I finished in a couple of days.......but did not want it to end. It was fantastic. A great mystery loaded with all the twists and turns Sidney Sheldon shared in his excellent array of books. I highly recommend that you purchase this book if you like a good mystery. You will be glad you did!!!

An interesting, and entertaining read.
This story wasted no time pulling me into the plot and keeping me there. Moving from one scenario to another, then bringing it all home in the end. Was it her best work? No. But still a good read.

Sidney Sheldon lives on!
Sidney Sheldon was one of my all-time favorite authors. I have read all his books, most of them more than once. Tilly Bagshawe does a great job in imitating his partcular writing style. This is the second book she has written in order to carry on his legacy and it is spectacular! The story line, character development and of course the vivid descriptions of the places the story takes place in comes very close to Sydney's style. I can't wait for the next installment!

Intrigante fino alla fine
Leggo i libri di Sidney Sheldon da molti anni ed è sempre un piacere: trame avvincenti ben costruite e finali sempre sorprendenti. Angel of the dark rimane all'altezza delle aspettative. Consiglio vivamente, si legge con facilità anche in lingua originale

Wow
I usually don’t like adaptations of plots by different authors. Their vision of the story and the original specially a stalwart like Sidney Sheldon is usually different. But this is the first one I liked.

A Perplexing Serial Murder Mystery
The authors have created an unusual but interesting serial murder mystery spanning about 25 years and extending from Los Angeles to London to Lyon, France to Hong Kong and to Mumbai, India with a final stop in Morocco. An agent with Interpol is alerted by a private U.S, citizen that the murders happening about ever 18 months have similar back grounds of an older wealthy male being the victim who is infatuated with a beautiful woman he recently met, an unknown male killer , and the revised wills donating the estate funds to children's charities. The trial in Los Angeles just before the end of the story is an interesting case of justice, and the ultimate determination of guilt. The story did not end on a positive note for me as one of the main characters succumbed to the infatuation syndrome. However, in real life, not everyone lives happily ever after. The different police force involvements along with Interpol was enlightening.

Captivating book
Having just rediscovered Sidney Sheldon, I found this edition in kindle version and bought it. I was not disappointed! Although not written by Sheldon himself, I found the suspense, intrigue and story telling to be on a par with his books. Once picked up, difficult to put down!I would definitely recommend this book.
