Brought my JBL Charge 2+ back to life
After some 10 years the battery in my JBL Charge 2+ finally gave up the ghost. A quick online search revealed replacing it was a pretty simple process. This is a direct swap for the original battery. I found it to be slightly slimmer but exact same length. 10 mins work and it slotted in just fine. It has repeatedly charged as expected and appears to hold it well. Overall, very happy with the purchase and would recommend to anyone with JBL battery issues.

Works well. After ordering I found other options which have tools included (this is the battery only, and prying off the covers is not easy!). So the battery itself is perfect, but not the best value.

Check old battery wiring first...
Despite stating 100% compatibility, the (blue) battery I received is wired differently. On closer inspection, the details page does advise to check but why state 100% compatibility and that the item is for a JBL Charge 2+. It isn't! As an aside, the wires leading from the replacement battery are much thinner. Really frustrating that I will have to return this.
