Great bench. Great price
Extremely high quality workbench. Does everything I need it to do. Easy to assemble too. The price for this too was extremely good at the time but I brought it has gone up in price recently. If you're after: a heavy duty, easy to assemble, inexpensive workbench. This is definitely the one to go for

Robust Bench
Good quality and value for money. Very sturdy frame work and quite thick mdf surfaces. Will require application of a sealant to protect the mdf .

Not a work bench
This is more of a storage unit than a work bench. If you treat it as such then it's absolutely fine! Fairly simple to put together although I had to use pliers to adjust some of the tabs to get them to slide into the holes. The MDF boards are a bit on the thin side and will need sealed and painted/ varnished. Overall it's quite decent for the price but not strong enough for a work bench

Quick to build and pretty solid
Went together in about 25 mins (1 person job) and very easy.Use a rubber mallet to tap the cross beams into the slots and bend the tongues back using a flat head screwdriver.Pretty good storage bench. Top tip for me was to put the bottom shelf a bit higher, then you can store stuff under it, on it, and on the top of the workbench too.

Shelving & bench
Very pleased with all the. VonHaus benches and shelving. Easy to slide together and very sturdy. I’ve bought two of these benches and used the 2nd one as extra shelves for a bench.

Avoid - Not heavy duty as described!
This is cheap chinese made with 2 thin MDF boards that will soak up any moisture in a garage and disintegrate into mush in no time...it is poorly made as one of the gaps made to attach the support rods was broken. Lightweight and wobbly... It would be unsafe to use any heavy duty tools on this bench... It is definitely not worth £50, more like £20. Sorely disappointed in poor quality as thought brand Von Haus was decent, but obviously not!

You get what you pay for but can be improved
A real pain to put together by yourself but the instructions do advise 2. Surprisingly sturdy when once constructed. MDF boards need sealing, I used MDF sealer & then finishing as required, in my case a bit of matt polyurethane floor varnish. With a bit of work a cheap bench made very useable.
