Financial Accounting: Tools for Business Decision Making 7th Edition

I bought this book for a college accounting class, taking a gamble that the 9th edition (required for the class) would be pretty comparable. Fortunately for me, all the homework sets were online, so the 7th edition did well for me to learn the concepts. Don’t buy this if you need the same exercises, but accounting doesn’t change :)Buying used in “fair” condition saved me over $100, and the book is pre-highlighted. Best of both worlds!

Great book! Although, i rented it so it had some rips and tears but other than that this book is very well-detailed and meets the requirements for Accounting 202

I bought this book for my graduate school course. It was very informative and I learned a lot.

This textbook is great but has a few flaws. First off, there are way too many problems at the end of each chapter that you don't know which to work at. The author omits why accounts for the assets are debits and why the liabilities and stockholder's equity are credits. The stockholder's equity chapter was a little confusing. Accounting is not the most exciting subject but spend time looking at the chapter and do the problems and you'll do okay.

This book is overly complex - examples are not well outlined and there is little or no backup support on the various complex problems therein.I had to purchase other study resources to make sense of the complex examples listed.The book starts off well enough with good outlines but then steps all over itself. The key aspects are defined but lack the unification of the core principles in terms that anyone can comprehend. If you are already an accountant or are in the accounting field then this book is for you. If you are a novice trying to learn the concepts and how they are applied then I would stay far away from this book. Trust me you will become discouraged easily if you are not a research hound by nature like I am and dig deep into the web for help. They should pay you to use it .. not the other way around.

I found this product to be more than I had anticipated. I think I will purchase my textbook in this format whenever it is offered. I was able to handle the chapters as I needed them without the added weight of the others. Thank you for offering the unbounded copy

I highly recommend purchasing the Wiley Plus online companion. It is expensive, but made my life so much easier. I hope your professor uses it, as mine did.

They put in tiny print under more that there is no code with an almost 200.00 book. I spend 600-1000 per semester on books between my son and myself for college. This is the first time that I've ever been decieved by a company. Thank goodness for Amazons guarantee. If not, I'd be sitting here with a book that I can't even use. I mean when you buy a new book it always comes with the code. I can buy the code and a new book in the bookstore for 3.00 more than what I paid here. Usually the words are in bold that they do not come with the code, not this one. Shy away and make sure you READ all of the fine print if for some reason you have to buy from these people.
