Can't say enough good things about these air purifiers and the filters are super easy to change etc. - if you keep up with a regular rinse of the pre-filter - you can get a year out of the full filter.

My Alen Breathesmart 75i came with the “True Hepa Pure” allergen filter for dust, pollen and mold. I’ve replaced the filter twice and both times upgraded to the “True Hepa Fresh” filter that also addresses smoke, kitchen odors and VOCs (volatile organic compounds). I notice a difference with respect to kitchen smoke and odors, such as cooked fish. And wildfires have become a yearly occurrence in my area, so I feel it’s healthier to filter out as much smoke as possible as I can smell it inside at times. The 75i with the True Hepa Fresh filter makes a huge difference in my indoor air quality. The filters generally last about 12-15 months, though I went ahead and changed mine a few months early given all the fires this year. The filter already has the prefilter in it (so don’t buy one). While I don’t enjoy spending money on filters, I think it’s totally worth the cost as the allergens and smoke are health issues and I’m aware of a noticeable difference in air quality and how I feel. Definitely recommend. 5 stars.

Alen makes a great product, if not an inexpensive one. Has done a fine job the year I've had it.

A very hefty filter but it does filter out the smells. The only thing I see wrong with is is not being able to vacuum it without ultimately getting some of the black stuff inside the pre-filter into the vacuum. Other than that it's a good filter, so is the air purifier itself. As far as value for money goes it's way too expensive, I prefer buying the brand name filtera though because they last longer and the aftermarket ones don't filter out the smells as good/at all.

We run our Alen year round. This filter lasts us one year. It's super easy to replace. I can definitely tell a difference during allergy season. I highly recommend Alen products. We have one on each level in our home.

I do terrible keeping a spare filter around. Amazon does a great job delivering quickly. The filter is a perfect fit. No hassle!

You must reset Filter Light Indicator after changing filter in order for Allen to know filter has been changed. By holding Filter Button 5 Seconds, then filter light should turn green if different color. Thank you Allen Support team taught me that.
