Would this mat work well with crafts/epoxy?

I use the mats for crafts and have heard that a lot of people use it for epoxy crafts.

Can you trim the mat to fit an area?

Don't buy this one. i've rated it before. 1 star. I tried to cut it & it tore really easily. I am much happier with the more expensive bakers mat I got. This one was a waste of money. I felt I couldn't send it back because I'd tried to cut it down.

Can I use this under a dog water n food bowls?
