Awesome for bench rest shooting…
… using my air rifles. Very easy to manipulate for height. I currently have this coupled with a leofoto MH-60 inverted ball head ARCA clamp, and the two make a great bench rest set up vs the traditional bipod

Mini Titan of a Tripod
If you're needing a stout, heavy duty, well made, nicely packaged, versatile, short, carbon fiber, tripod...look no further.The anodizing is great.The leg locks are easy to use and hold everything firmly.The leg angle lockouts are easy to use with a nice bonus (when you move the legs from their lowest setting to their tallest setting, the lockout automatically click into the next detent.)The foot options (rubber pads or metal spike), are well made.This little thing punches far above it's weight, and is a high value for your dollar item.IMPORTANT NOTE:This thing is CHUNKY. It is built to hold a heavy camera and lens combo in absolute safety.If you're looking for a tripod to take with your everywhere, to get those low level shots, and you're camera setup isn't heavy or overbearing, you might consider the smaller version in this tripod series from this vendor. BUT, if you need something small, heavy duty, secure, and well made, to hold up your video rig with ease, or your camera and large lens combo, this one would be hard to beat. I highly recommend it.
