Primal Kitchen Vanilla Collagen Fuel® Drink Mix, Vanilla Coconut Collagen Peptides, No Dairy or Artificial Sweeteners, 20 Ounces

I wanted a flavored collagen powder because they really do enhance certain snacks/drinks and give it a more dessert like quality with the vanilla flavor. Collagen is not a complete protein as many like to point out, but if you are of European descent with very light skin, chances are you need more collagen and get terrible dry skin in the winter, so this is great to have to improve your skin. Back to the product, the taste- I am surprised that people say it’s clumpy and has an aftertaste. It’s very smooth to me and easy to blend in cottage cheese (shown in photo), yogurt, milk, coffee, or any smoothie. If you want to up the level of blending in milk or coffee, get a cheap frother (ikea had one for 1.99 last year). This size lasts our family of four 1-2 months depending on the use. We also have other flavors and other protein brands we use, otherwise we’d be through it sooner. The last thing I’ll say is this collagen is so good in coffee!! It does a good job sweetening too so I usually don’t add any sugar/stevia unless I have a real sweet tooth.

Great flavor and dissolves almost completely

This product is great. Got it on time been using it daily for a couple years. It’s good for the hair skin and gut.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I just purchased this product; the vanilla & coconut flavor and started using very recently so for now I'll leave a taste/feature review then in 30 days I'll write a performance review. Taste/feature: (4 stars) If you read the instructions and blend as defined on the packaging, then it will easily and fully dissolve in your hot beverage leaving no clumps or residue behind; I stir it in my coffee. I do recommend adding a sweet creamer if using it with coffee due the vitamin after taste. It doesn't taste bad, it's actually pretty good and palatable, however it does leave a aftertaste which some might not like.

I love this collagen! Great flavor and consistency. I put it in my coffee in the mornings and I love it!. I crave the subtle vanilla coconut flavor. I put half a scoop in one cup of coffee, add a little oat milk for creaminess and enjoy. I generally will do this 2 times in the morning to equal a full serving of collagen. Halfway through i give it a good stir, otherwise it will settle a little. Wonderful product!

Been using this for over a year in my smoothies. Love the flavor! My nails grow so fast and helps my hair. I just added to hot coffee frothed with milk and it’s really good. Dissolves well. I can taste the stevia more in the coffee, not at all in a smoothie with fruit and protein powder. It’s 10 grams of protein so a great additive to smoothies or coffee. I have mine on auto ship and my kids have started adding it to their smoothies too.

At first, I thought this product was great. I wanted to increase my collagen intake, and this seemed like a good way to go. About two weeks after I started using it, I began to experience significant dizziness, such that I had to hold onto something when I stood up, put my hand on the wall when I took a shower, etc. I was very alarmed, thinking something was wrong with me. I thought about anything I'd been doing differently lately, and came up with the collagen powder. I thought "no way is it the collagen, how silly," but stopped taking it anyway. And the dizziness went away in a few days. I read another review on this product from a customer who experienced this too, although his symptoms were even worse than mine. I cancelled my order immediately, but another container of it just showed up in the mail and Amazon will not allow me to return it. I am extremely dissatisfied and suggest you avoid this product. They should, at the very least, include warning info about potential side effects, which they do not do. And since this container is unopened, they should allow me to return it and stop sending me this stuff. I cancelled my order. I should not still be receiving this stuff, nor should I be charged for it. This is one time when Amazon really dropped the ball.

I really wanted to love this stuff. I’ve used several different collagen brands but I’ve been looking for a coconut flavored protein/collagen to mix in my morning coffee. This one seemed to be exactly what I was wanting until I used it. The collagen does not blend, especially in warm liquid. I tried to mix it by the directions and then tried several other different ways, and it either has the consistency of tapioca or is just a big blob at the bottom of the cup. Chewing on my morning coffee is not what I was expecting
