Top brake light for BARN DOOR style rear doors
Quality replacement top-rear brake light for 2001 GMC Yukon with "barn door" rear tailgate doors. Easy diy installation. My top-rear brake light housing was broken and the light bar was cracked. I needed to replace in order to pass state vehicle safety inspection. Luckily my wiring was not damaged so this replacement was just unplugging the old light harness and plugging this one in. I removed the old weather seal, cleaned the area a little bit, and then installed the new (included) weather seal. Placed the light on the weather seal and then screwed the light back into place using existing screws. Seal is tight. Light works and is nice and bright.

Price was right.
Light came with the correct pigtail adapter and functions. Grommet was way to small for my 99 Blazer (4 door with two piece tail gate...i.e. glass top and metal bottom function independently...glass goes up...tailgate goes down). Re-used old grommet with some RTV to repair the slit I made. There were also some features around the screw bosses that interfered with mounting...I was able to grond down plastic bosses and tabs to allow onstallation.

Buen producto aunque aún mejorable. En mi blazer no quedo bien tuve que modificarlo en el área de los tornillos rebajando por completo el aumento de plástico ya que por la forma que tiene de fabrica mi camioneta no enbonan bien. Aunque no es algo difícil de hacer.
