I can't believe how well it works. I read so many tutorials on book making and everyone says how hard it is to get foil to stay on leather, but 3 pieces in and this thing has firmly stuck the foil on all the leather. It's very easy to use. Just a few minutes to heat up and then it can press foil into many different things. It's top notch.

I love this kit. The pens are easy to use and the results are lovely. I am even impressed to find it was possible to fix a mistake before the foil was completely cooled.

Arrives on time, packaged carefully and product inside was in perfect condition. Even a short handwritten note from the small business! Nice touch. Bought as a gift for my daughter that I know she will enjoy.

Five stars for the pens. They heat up quickly and are easy to use. I tested at first with the included gold foil and was not impressed. I thought the pens weren't working. Then I tried the pink gold and silver foils. Those were so much better! I can write slowly but normally on the silver and pink gold and the transfer is good. The gold foil is very light and incomplete transfer. After having good success with the included silver foil, I'm convinced the quills are good products. I've purchased some better foil for the gold.

I'm an absolute fan of this! I got it as a beginner crafter for rebind books, and it's works fantastic. It's not too big, which is great for when you are holding it for a little while and doesn't take long to heat up at all. Definitely recommend to start foiling and crafting at beginner level!

This is a very nice and easy to use product. After it heats up, you just write with it like a regular pen. The only down side is that you cannot really trace with it. I tried to print something nice on the computer and trace it with the pen, the pen did not get hot enough to go through the paper and the foil. I tried thinner paper, that didn't work either. So it is just freehand.

This is an amazing innovation in crafting. Foiling SO easy and SO cheap!!!! Possibilities are endless! Okay. Possibilities are endless if you try, learn anything and don’t expect a magic wand to come out of the package. It’s not going to do the work for you. BUT that being said even the most novice crafter can find a use for this. SO MUCH FUN. if you read a bad review on one pen or another. Ignore. They’re looking for the magic wand. You can use stencils, trace stuff, stamp stuff and trace. You don’t have to know how to do much if you don’t want to but, try really. AND you can take it with you wherever! Get a battery pack which I’m sure you already have for the 10,000 devices we all have laying around these days and sit down and make some pretty. You’ll be so glad you did. Sparkle up an invitation or an impromptu card. Add a little pizazz to a journal, a lunch bag, a headband, some earrings, a bag, a purse, a pencil pouch, a microfiber cloth you clean those 10,000 devices with... need I go on.? Just get one. You’re crafty. Otherwise you wouldn’t be here reading this. Just buy one. You’ll find a use for it. If you can draw, you can trace over drawings you’ve already made like another reviewer suggests. Super smart. Get it done. Foil it up. You’ll be glad you did. Who doesn’t enjoy a little of that.? Oh, also good for you that can hand letter. Like I said, So many possibilities. You CaN. Do It. Have Fun!!!!!

I got the package and it arrived unopened. I LOVE this product. But one of the pens is not working. I've tried plugging into multiple USB ports and it's light isn't turning on or heating up. But the other two pens are working great so far. I love how easy they are to use. I'll upload a picture late. I printed off some writing I wanted on one of my books, and I placed the paper I printed off over the foil, and traced the printed paper, and the foil engraved perfectly on the book. I do recommend other then the one pen isn't working. I'm going to contact the seller and see what they can do to help resolve it.

these are fun to use for freehand drawing/writing. I also have the cutting machine version which are great for precise & duplicate applications, but these are so much fun & great for quick fixes & personalised touches. these are much dearer than using other heat tools, but they feel very comfortable & safe to hold and so easy to use with a USB portable charger.

J'avais très envie de mettre du foil sur mes créations mais impossible de réussir, même en épluchant toutes les vidéos YouTube... soir je n'avais pas la bonne imprimante... soit je ne trouvais pas de stylo-colle assez puissant.... Bref, je peux vous dire qu'avec cet appareil, vos créations vont se faire une beauté ! L'utilisation est rapide et facile (il suffit de brancher en USB, d'attendre 5min que ça chauffe, et après vous dessiner sur votre foil!) Le rendu est nickel sur le papier, et surtout, ça tient !
