This product was delivered to us on December 16. It is now February 7th and it just stopped working for absolutely no reason at all. The light suddenly turned from blue to red and it stopped pumping water. I unplugged it and tried to plug it back in. I checked to see if it was clogged somehow. No clog whatsoever. It just won’t work. Any product that stops working after under two months of use is not a good product. Save your money. Don’t waste it on a piece of junk that won’t even last your animal or animals for two months! Unfortunately, I can’t return it because I have passed Amazon’s thirty day return policy, but I am thankful that I can leave this review in an attempt to try to save someone else their money and trouble.

I really, really wanted to give this a five star review. My cat loved her new fancy water fountain. It took her a day to get used to it because she’s a bit timid, but it’s so quiet she go over her apprehension. When I took away her regular water bowl and showed her it was just water by dripping my fingers in it and putting it on her nose she took to it pretty easily. I’ve only had this since December 12th. I changed the water completely every three days and I’ve cleaned it every week, and replaced the filters every week because they seemed to need it, but the pump stopped working yesterday. I’m completely at a loss. Just to rub salt in the wound, I had just bought two boxes of filters. I’ve put out her old water bowl, but now she’s not drinking from it. She really LOVED this fountain. I really don’t know what I did wrong. I did everything the manufacturer said to do. If it had taken more than six and a half weeks for the pump to go bad, I would have been able to write a good review. Even six months and I would have felt less ripped off. But I feel like and item like this should at least last a year or two with appropriate care. Am I wrong?

My cats are spoiled.They love sink water and tub water. They seriously expect me to turn the faucet on and wait for them to drink.So this seemed like a natural fit.I was worried that it would be too noisy, or spook them. They really are skittish.I was very happy to see they were both curious about it, and it was nearly completely silent when operating. I also liked that the light goes red and the pump shuts down when it runs dry.Ultimately, they both love it, and I’m hoping to completely replace their regular bowl soon. I couldn’t be happier with it, and I don’t think they could either.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I bought this pet fountain because I have two small dogs and 2 large cats that share a water dish . I’m constantly having to fill and clean their dish. This fountain is amazing it filters the water, and it can hold a lot of water saving me time . The animals love the water in constant movement.

UPDATE (see original post below)Upon contacting customer service (finally, after 9 months), they were actually willing to send a replacement motor to me at no cost to myself (I think they charged like, $0.10). Not sure if it's going to last any longer, but I'll give the product 3 stars instead of 1 because of customer service. Still don't expect it to last long.ORIGINAL:Got this fountain back in mid January 2020, and it worked great - super quiet, different pump volumes, cool design, cat loved it...but it only lasted for 2 months. It is now mid March 2020 and the motor has stopped working completely. The LED light turns red and the motor stops when the water level is too low, but yesterday this happened randomly when it was still half full. Taking the motor apart, cleaning it, reassembling, changing the water, filling it up... nothing worked to get it back going again. Would've been a great product if it actually lasted, but with a lifespan of only a couple months, I cannot recommend this product at all.

I like this setup. The cat gets access to fresh, clean water. The cat sees it flowing and is interested in it enough to drink from it. It's large enough that she can't knock it over. Runs quiet, easy to clean, easy to assemble.

I chose to purchase this fountain because it had great reviews and the description says its quite. I was very happy to hear how quiet this fountain was when I first plugged it in. It was so quiet I didn't know it was on. Even on the highest setting it couldn't be heard. I left it on the highest setting to attract my cat to it. My cat even liked it right anyway.Then the disappointment came. The very next evening the pump started to get loud. I've not even had this thing a week yet. I could hear it in the other room. I turned the setting down to its lowest. Not as loud on low but still noisy. Gave it a day and then the low setting was getting louder too. The cat has wanted nothing to do with thing since it started making noise.

Initially I looovvved this fountain for my multi-cat and 1 dog household, as did the pets, but after a month and a half, it abruptly stopped working. The power came on, was full of water, but wouldn't circulate. We changed the filter after 3 weeks of using tap water. It does go through filters relatively quickly, but the pets loved it. Very disappointed that my return window has closed and $25 was a waste. Others seem to love this fountain, but I cannot recommend.
