Worth the Purchase
Okay, even though I gave these three stars, I think these are definitely worth buying, especially for the price. I've had them a few months, and the only reason I don't still use them is because one side broke. No, it didn't stop working, it broke off. I'm almost sure it was my fault which is why I don't blame the company for poor quality. Actually, it is built quite well. Not to mention it looks really nice when you put them on.Having been a fan of House of Marley for quite a while now, I have owned quite a few of their headphones. These were my favorites hands down. The sound was great, being a basshead, I was more than pleased. However, when this says it's an Apple based controller, it's the truth. I have an android phone and the volume buttons don't work. Thankfully, the middle button did, which is all I really cared for. I didn't have much of a chance to test the MIC, but the few times I did there were no complaints. All in all, the headphones were amazing and I loved them while I had them. I used them everyday, constantly wearing them, so it would only make sense I broke them so soon. It wouldn't be the first time. The only reason this has three stars is because I felt there wasn't much of a difference between the less expensive Marley's and these. It is, however, much more aesthetically pleasing and a bit less muffled tone than the others. Anyway, great headphones an I'd definitely buy them again, if I didn't already have tons of other headphones.

7 years of use
I've been a customer with House of Marley for about 7 years now and over that timespan I've purchased 4 pairs of headphones from them. I've had no complaints in terms of bang-for-the-buck. The sound & build quality exceeded my expectations for the price point. I've been using them everyday for exactly a year and 2 days now, and they've held up even after all the wear and tear. House of Marley also has a great customer service system! I once had a pair die out on me after 3 months of use and they responded to my email promptly and gladly replaced them for free. I usually just throw them in my backpack along with all my school stuff without the carrying pouch it comes with and they're still in pristine condition with the exception to them looking a bit dirty since I got the white cabled pair. Though they're not advertised as noise cancelling, they're adequate for the library, gym or situations where you want to block off background noise, but in order to block off as much noise as possible you'll have to play around with the ear bud cushion sizes. I've since upgraded to a pair of Audio Technica ATH-CKS99i, but I'll definitely continue to use my Marleys as my casual pair.

Really good
Had a hard time adjusting the size of the rubber ear pods to my ear, but I think it's because these are the first in ear headphones I ever use. Really good sound for the low price. Love the design and love that they are eco-friendly. Maybe I would like them more if they had stronger bass but, overall, great low cost headphones.

Best inexpensive Earbuds
Best inexpensive Earbuds!!!Ive had these earbuds for about a month now and I still can't get over how amazing they sound. The bass is very powerful but not overwhelming. The treble is extremely clear and crisp. I have a pair of beats headphones and these earbuds still sound better. They look great too! The gold and black finish looks awesome. The braided chord is also a really cool feature. I find that the chord doesn't completely eliminate getting tangled but it makes it a lot easier to untangle. Overall I definitely recommend that you buy these earbuds.

Never going back
These were my first $20ish pair of earbuds, so I hoped my extensive research on Amazon would bear fruit, and it definitely did. I listen to everything from electronic and dubstep to orchestral music, rock and rap, and it all sounds...just better. Warmer. Skullcandy earbuds sound tinny compared to these.I can hear a lot more things in the background, including stuff I never picked up before, and if you want some really full, palpable bass, these more than do the job. Between these and the EQs on my Rockboxed Mp3 player I'm a pretty happy camper.

Rather decent build quality, and great sounding.
It's been a little over 3 weeks since I've got these. They've been through the wash a few times, and they still amazing and look stunning. These headphones go to volumes much louder than that which would be confortable listening volume, but it sounds as if they weren't meant to be that high, as audio does get distorted.Compared to my last set of 20 dollar headphones, these things sound much better, and they have that lovely wood lining and beautiful packaging.

Deep, rich sound and great fit
I have bought a couple dozen sets of earbuds because I take them everywhere and inevitably they wear out or get lost. This is my second pair of the Marley Uplift and they're great. I love the thread around the cords and they fit great. The sound is deep and rich, not too thin and harsh (like lots of other earbuds!) I would buy more of these for sure.

Worth it when they were on sale.
Sound quality is definitely above average but the ergonomics leave a lot to desire. I have had mine for over a year now and they definitely show their age, but look good nonetheless. The wire is sturdy and the signs of use show up on the metal parts.

Amazing earbuds for the price
I originally bought these headphones to use while my beats studios are charging but now I use them much more. These earbuds have exceptional sound quality for the price and a very high build quality. The earbuds are made of metal and the cord is braided. I am very impressed with these earbuds. The only problem I have with them is that the end of the cord that you put in your audio jack has a 90 degree angle. This means that it doesn't fully fit with my case. I have an OtterBox defender on my note 4 and my s5. Aside from that I have nothing but good things to say about the product. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for earbuds.Pros-Low price-good sound quality-solid construction-good looksCons-90 degree angle on cord

Solid product, second HOM purchase that I'm pleased with.
I've had these for a month or two so far and they sound good, I'm not a well spoken audiophile or anything but they sound bass heavy which is nice, the lacking in the mid range is the only reason why I take one star off, but apart from that they're going fine so far, and I move furniture for a living so these get thrashed, and haven't failed me yet.
