Works on 2005 Toyota Camry XLE
Great price, easy to install. I watched YouTube videos to understand the process. Uninstall of old part was a bit tricky. I ended up using a small electronics flat head screw driver to pop open the clips. Also, make sure you support the hood well during uninstall of old support (it may take a bit of time & finagling to disengage the old support tabs). I used two scrap pieces of 2x4 approx 13-14" long, to prop up left/right sides of hood. Having another person hold it up works too :-). Install was less than 2min. Just pops on. Then lift hood all the way up and lower it down. Will seem a bit stiff the first couple times you open and close the hood, but then will feel like the original OEM part did.

Perfect replacement forHood strut
2was a perfect replacement for 05 Camry hood strut. Will see how long it lasts but was easy fix.

Fits perfectly and my hood is staying up
This worked perfectly. A note of caution, though . . . if your shoulder(s) are weak or you have arthritis, you may want to consider using a hood prop or an assistant while you swap out the hood support.

Easily installed and works GREAT!
This is the best shock I have ever installed. My Toyota Solara only uses one shock and this is an xlnt shock for the job. You only have to lift the hood about 18" and the shock pulls the hood up by itself and holds it fully open. I highly recommend this product.

Worked Great, popped right in place.
The hood on the Camry is heavy and has only one of these props. This one fit right in and raised and held the hood nicely. I'll write back if it does not last long, but it is surely just what I needed now.
