didn't come with directions, but not hard to figure out.the good: lightweight, easy to install and set up, the seams are taped adding water resistance. Material looks to be a treated nylon. Seams are also double stitched to add strength. Poles are decent twist lock type, easily replaceable if needed.the bad: bag zipper located on top rather than bottom of bag (you can't waterproof a zipper), no directions, poor quality control regarding the mounting holes on the brackets, they look like they were drilled by Helen Keller. Overall it's good and will get the job done.THIS IS NOT POLY COTTON, NOT AT THIS PRICR. I figured that before buying.

The awning is a very nice size. The case is the best thing about this awning, well built. The awning material itself is very lightweight and setting up in a breeze is difficult to impossible as it will catch the wind and blow over the vehicle, destroying the arms. The corner poles are very poor quality and jamb easily requiring gentle care in making work again, this unit REALLY should be shipped with at least one extra pole!Once fully setup and guy roped down it is effective, but the stakes provided for the guy ropes are worthless, throw them away and get some GOOD metal stakes.Folding the awning up takes some dexterity as well and is much easier accomplished with a helper. A helper makes setup MUCH easier too.I would really like to see some solid or screened panels as accessories for this awning such as all the other manufacturers offer, but for the selling price it is a pretty good deal.Note that if you mount this unit on the wrong side of your vehicle the awning will still function, but the bags zipper will be on the TOP instead of the bottom. Make sure you buy the right model for your application.

Poor quality. Dont waste your money. Spend a little more and get name brand. Rivets are cheap pot metal and ripped out on me during installation.

the product looks nice and water resistance, but unfortunately the screw bolt the holds the 4 long rods that hold the awningis flimsy and not stableand banded cause of the thin aluminum layer behind it.I have contacted the seller for a refund and explained to Him for future R&D improvements for new customers satisfaction, but unfortunately he wasn't agree.dont waste your money the price of this product is tempting but pay extra for a good quality and heavy duty so it can last with you and ofcourse a good after sale customer service.Thank you

Mediocre build quality, had to add 2 rivets to the awning where it connects to the mount because the slave labourers in China didnt install them. But it does a thing and blocks the sun.

very good costumer support, very helpful. had a situation where the wind blew the awning and broke part of the hinge, messaged seller about replacement parts and they immediately replied back. they were willing the send the parts i needed with no problems. im a very happen customer. i recommend this product for those who are looking for a 270 awning on a budget.

Its a great awning just remember when you mount it on the passenger side of the truck that the zipper faces up so yes water will get in , but its no big deal once you open it up the awning dries fast . But if you mount it on the drivers side the zipper is at the bottom and water will not get in. Its nice that its universal for either side . It can be set up by one person but with two It goes really fast

Flimsy poles broke first time extending them to set up, not even connecting them to awning. Terrible quality. Can't return as I had it too long before using it. Awning might be usable with much heavier poles and guy ropes. NOT at all happy with product.
