Metabo impact drill/driver
I simply love this tool. I have done some remodeling that if I didn't have this particular drill/driver I wouldn't have been able to finish. I have 3 Dremel drills and none on them can keep up with this one. I was skeptical at first, never ever heard that brand name, but after watching it go thru a workout with all the big name drills/driver and it was the best tool for the job. I love love it. You get 2 batteries and a charger that actually has a fan in it. It is a power monster. I just got thru putting an overhang on my workshop and there is nothing like hanging off a ladder trying to screw in 3" screws and you can't give your drill much push at all. This drill did the job in no time.

Great tool and great price
I bought my first Hitachi 18v drill and impact combo in 2009, and it's still running strong. The newer tools are rebranded as Metabo HPT, but have the same level of quality with some improvements - brushless motors and larger capacity batteries, while being lighter and more ergonomic. This combo with the 3.0ah, 5.0ah and the impact driver at $127 is a bargain. The 5.0ah battery alone is like $90. I most definitely recommend.

Great deal.
The impact driver works very well. For this price its hard to find just the batteries. The batteries work well with other Metabo/HPT/Hitachi products. The charger is pretty works well with older hitachi batteries, use caution though, as this is fast charger. It was fine with 2 old 1.5ah batteries, so it seems smart enough, to detect them.

Works very well
I really like this and there is plenty of power and good battery life. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because it does not have a magnet to hold bits in place.

Cheaper than just battery and charger.
Pretty much all brushless impact drivers are good tools. Technology really has produced a better product that is easy to get a hold of. This kit contains a 5 amp hour battery and a 3 amp hour battery and a charger. Buying just a 5 amp hour battery and a charger cost $50 more. So I found this kit to be a no-brainer.

Great tool
I bought this to replace a battery and charger even though I already had a impact driver. My charger was damaged by a off brand battery i somehow got. The battery went south too. The impact driver seems better than the two I already have and is a little shorter. I have used Hitachi cordless tools for years and the tools and batteries have held up very well to harsh jobsite conditions.Do NOT buy off brand batteries and chargers that fit Hitachi- Metabo tools, you will regret it.

It can't be used after charging once and it breaks down.
When it arrived, only two batteries were lit, so I charged it immediately with the attached charger. The next day, if I was using it by attaching it to CR36DAQ4, it suddenly stopped! When I looked at the manual so that the left and right sides of the memory lamp of the battery would blink and it would not work, it was described as a malfunction. 36A18V broke down because it could not be used even for one charge.
