An excellent value for the money, and if installed properly? One little remote with very few buttons, although excellently titled and placed - could control a multitude of these lights. The key here is to be very specific where you place the IRS into the relationship of where you're sitting or standing when you want to control it, okay? I now have three sets of these lights: two of them are in the kitchen over the island, one is on a painting while it's other is in the music room over my guitar stool, and the last two are over an accent chair and my couch as a reading light. If you are judicious with a placement and direction of the IRD, you can control all of these lights independently by pointing the remote at them directly. Does it work perfectly? Of course not! But the point here is this - the lights are great, the battery life is pretty good, the IRD and swivel of the heads is excellent. (Now if the remote could just have them change color, LoL) Seriously a good thing for your buck

I wanted battery lights for my art but with a low profile, unobtrusive look on the ceiling. These little lights are it! 3 AA batteries each and up they go. I used 3M velcro for 4lbs weight and they are perfect. This light has a dimmer and timer on the remote along with 100% and 50% brightness buttons. All 4 installed work off one remote so you end up with 3 extra to hide around the room. I will most likely use them on a timer to enjoy them daily. I now can enjoy the ambiance of my art in a dimly lit room. Really sets off the art and makes you notice the beauty of it with direct lighting. Would highly recommend this product.

These little lights were just what I needed for adding extra light over my kitchen sink. It's just the right amount of brightness when 2 lights are used - see the photos. My only issue is that if you leave the lights on (I tend to forget to turn them off when I'm not at the sink) the batteries are used up fairly quickly. I will pay more attention to only turning them on when I need them!

I love these and use them to highlight some relatively expensive pieces of art. I wanted several pieces of art highlighted but didn’t want to run a new switch line and these did the trick well. The dimming makes it easy to calibrate how much you want highlight the work. My only wish is that it had a 24hr time so they would automatically turn on at a certain time vs. having to manually do so with the remote

The lights are nice. I like that they are adjustable. My problem is with the remote. If these lights are in a hard to reach spot, the remote is almost useless. You have to be very close to the light for the remote to work. I also ordered these before I realized they were battery operated. We’ll see how long these last before I have to replace batteries.

We have two large metal photographs, one 20"x80" and one 20"x60" on a high wall with bottom edges about 9' off the floor, with 6' bookcases situated about 6' away in the first case and 5' away in the second case. Setting each of the two spots on top of the respective bookcases eliminated any installation - simply positioning the correct angle and rotation for each. They are certainly bright enough at full brightness for these pieces, and being positioned below their targets was perfect. The spot on the 20"x80" was just shy of reaching left and right edges by maybe 6", but of course there is a fade out there rather than a hard transition to darkness. The spot on the 20'x60' was shy by about 3" each side. All in all, very pleased. The remote operates as expected, and the timer function appears to be accurate. We might obtain another set of two for additional art, but have to consider whether we have convenient locations for the spots. They wouldn't suffice being mounted on the ceiling above the art because there would be reflections off the shiny surfaces into the eyes of the viewer.

This was my third attempt to find something lightweight and easy to illuminate my living room artwork, and I finally got it right! (Tried a bar light over the top and a little spotlight on a stand, both similar manufacturers and battery operated. Neither did the job. ) These little units are light, easy to position and great. Used the velcro to stick them to my ceiling and so far so good. Can’t speak to their durability, whether they stay up or how long the battery lasts, but will update. Used two for a 40x28 piece of art. One might have been ok, but created a little bit of a spotlight effect in the center with the sides still dim. The only thing I wish for was that there was a warm and cool light option, like some other models have, but not a big deal.

These lights are useless. They present beautifully then drain the batteries, Duracell so the next time I use them a week later they no longer work. DO NOT BUY THEM UNLESS U LOVE REPLACING BATTERIES WEEKLY.

The lights worked literally for maybe 4 hours in total then stoped. Tried everything and of course changing batteries with no success. Very bad product
