Does exactly what I purchased it for!
We have three vehicles between us and don't really have room in the garage to park them. As winter approaches, although snow is rare here, we get some cold nights and we wake up to frozen-over windshields and windows on the cars. My car is older and doesn't have an electronic key-fob so I've also had the problem before of moisture getting into my door locks and them then freezing, making it really difficult to insert the key. My car is also a standard, stick-shift so even with the parking-brake engaged, I don't really feel comfortable turning it on and leaving it running in neutral, (in our slightly sloped driveway) so it can warm up and defrost. In any case, even without frozen locks, it's at the very least, not very convenient to have to go out and turn the car on to warm up and defrost the windows, for 20 minutes or so, prior to leaving for work in the morning. I found that just covering it the evening before, with a tarp keeps the dew, moisture and frost off. If it rains or there’s dew and then freezes no moisture freezes in the key holes. I've checked out car covers but found them more expensive, more of a hassle to put on and take off, and they don't always stay on that well. With a tarp, I just pull the tarp up and over the car, from front to back. I easily secure it in on the sides by opening the door, tucking it in, (like a pleat) a couple inches inside along the vertical door-frame edge and shutting the door on it. I tuck it under the wipers in front and under the upper edge of the trunk in back. We rarely get high winds but even when we have, [so far]...it's stayed put. No need for bungie cords or anything else. In the morning I just pull it off and hang it up in the garage to dry. It does the trick for me! There's no frost on the windows and they are NOT so cold that they're fogged up for the first 5-10 minutes of my drive to work (or until the engine warms up enough for the defroster to do its job) Just the little extra covering seems to be the difference that enables the defroster to keep the windows clear on cold mornings. This tarp isn't very thick, but it's super easy to handle. Last winter I used a thicker one and it worked great too but was a bit heavier to handle. I had to replace it though because I'd left it draped over an outdoor bench and a neighborhood stray cat peed on it...gross! It’s not really a lovely experience to get cat-pee all over your shoes and pants while removing a tarp. (hence why I now hang it in the garage to dry) I thought I’d try and see if this thickness was still sufficient for my needs. So far, this seems to be plenty thick for the intended purpose and at this price, if for some reason it does end up ripping, it's no big deal. I also like the fact that this one is 12 x 12 square so it doesn't matter which direction you put it on the car. (My other one was rectangular.) This one is square so it doesn’t matter which direction it goes on. There is no right or wrong way. You don't have to try to figure out which is the "long-direction". I’d be sure to measure you vehicle so you know what size you need for coverage but for me, this one covers both the front and back windows and also drapes down enough on the sides to be able to securely tuck-in and really cover the car well. Probably not what you want if you need something heavy-duty and super-durable but, works for me for my purposes, so I'd recommend for light protection.

Quality product, gets the job done
We bought this to place under our tent when we went camping. It did a great job at keeping the dampness at bay. It was a nice thickness and the grommets were durable, as well. We had a 9'×6' tent. This tarp was perfect for it. We lined up the back of the tent along one side of the tarp. Then we folded in the tarp toward the front so we could place the stakes in the ground. This left us a few feet of tarp in front of the tent to place our shoes, get any dirt off stuff, or allow us to place items down without them getting dirty. I'd recommend this tarp.

Good overall tarp
I am using this tarp to have over the ground for a pool. It is nice that it has holes all the way around so it can be staked down. I gave it a 2 on durability because one the holes on the corner ripped when staking it down. Overall this tarp does its job well and gives protection for my pool so it's not touching the bare ground.

Light, but works for my purposes
This little tarp is great. My SO and I bought it to use as a footprint under our backpacking tent and it fits absolutely perfectly. For those who may be considering this for other uses, might want to note that this tarp is thinner and feels more “flimsy” and light than other tarps of this kind that I have used before. For our purposes, that was a welcomed surprise, because we wanted something as lightweight as possible and easily compressed to fit in a backpack. Works great and if it rips/tears will definitely just buy again because it’s inexpensive.

Ok, but not heavy duty
On the first use of this tarp (used under and folded over a blow-up swimming pool), two of the grommets at the corners tore out of the tarp. The tarp is pretty thin for being described as “heavy duty”. We used it for 7 days before deflating our pool and putting the tarp away. We did notice discoloration and thinning of the material where water had collected between the pool bottom and the tarp. The second time we used the tarp was, again, to set the inflatable pool on and to cover the pool. We placed the part without the grommets under the pool this time and used the rest to cover over the pool. This was up for only 5 days this time. When we took it down, there was “shredded” plastic where the tarp has weakened near the other 2 corner grommets. We figure we might get one more use (under the pool) out of this tarp before we have to throw it away. There are just too many areas of weakened spots to be able to use it for anything else.

Worked well as a winter pool cover
We used this for our inground pool. It worked well for the winter, but the tarp suffered enough damage to not be able to use it next year. This was not unexpected. I feel we got a good value for the money and I'm happy with a single-season use.

Blue tarp.
Right price and right size trap for covering a couple of gliding chairs during the fall and winter.
