yes, you can be any character. I also was the host and chose my character to be the restaurant owner because that made sense to me too.

Q: Is this played around a table or can you be interactive?

You can either play around a dinner table with a sit-down meal or you can mingle as part of a buffet-style party (or a mix of both!) It's very flexible to adapt to the way you want to play. There are three main acts so you can play around a three-course meal or just break in-between acts for refreshments. If mingling, players should question every suspect in every act to be able to solve the mystery!

Q: Bought in oct for teen bday. it was a big hit. want to play w/adults over holidays but missing 1 script. can i get copy of una corneto?

The invitations are to the murder mystery and have spaces to write the time, the place and the role you want the guest to play. Costume suggestions are provided on the back.
